Your role

Your profile

• Actuarial degree is necessary with good progress in actuarial exams.

Requirement

• Bachelor Degree in Materials Science, Engineering and / or MBA
• Extensive experience in a global business, fast-paced, high growth deep technology/manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong strategic mindset, analytical and problem-solving skills, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders & drive / manage change
• 10 -15 years’ experience in marketing and/or business development, preferably within space of materials technology, surface coatings, engineering, technical industries.

• Canvass and acquire for potential customers
• Follow up closely with all prospective customers through product recommendations, campaigns and trading system demonstration
• Collaborate with Phillip Nova to actively market the suites of product offerings for on-boarding new customers to grow our market presence
• Maintain strong knowledge of the trading platform features and capabilities in providing educating customers of platform abilities
• Keep abreast of global and economic news in order to provide trading support to customers
• Building and networking with existing customers to provide consultative selling to meet customer's trading needs
• Build and maintain strong customers relationships as well as after-sales service
• Active monitoring of existing customers’ activity to assess their needs and provide required trading support to increase Phillip Nova market share
• Perform risk management of customers' portfolio in ensuring portfolio maintains healthy level

Application Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma and above preferably in the discipline of finance
• Preferably 1 year of experience in related industry /or with sales experiences of any industry. Candidates without experience are also welcome to apply
• Selected candidates are required to pass CMFAS paper RES5, RES1A, RES2A, CM-EIP & CM-SIP

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Developing strategies to improve sales

2. Effectively handling customer complaints, and assisting with the recruitment of sales staff.

3. To delegate tasks to the sales staff in the absence of the sales manager

4. Continually meeting or exceeding sales quotas

5. Supervising and guiding the sales team as well as providing incentives to motivate staff to achieve sales targets

6. Monitoring the performance of the sales team

7. Ensuring that the studio is clean and well-maintained at all times

8. Building and maintaining good working relationships with customers

9. Identifying opportunities and strategies to increase sales

10. Regularly attending sales meetings and training sessions

11. Ensuring that the store is adequately stocked with company products.

12. Performing all duties of the Sales Manager in cases of absence or emergency

Supervising a team of retail assistants to ensure smooth operation
Responsible for the sales of your category of products
Handle inventory management, housekeeping and merchandising
Demonstrate outstanding customer service and selling skills, keeping the selling floor stocked with merchandise, assisting in display of merchandise or organizing the selling floor and stock areas.
Process payments by totaling purchases; processing cash or other credit cards
Must also be able to deal with customer refunds courteously and professionally

1. To assist in the development, planning, execution of marketing strategies and follow up with proper report on the progress of the strategy implemented.
2. Assist in organising and coordinate marketing and sales promotion activities.
3. Assist in collating marketing research data and analysing data so as to identify target audience /products / services.
4. Assist in Managing website, social media planning for marketing activities.
5. Assist in planning Sales Target and ensuring that they are achieved.
6. Assist in raising the awareness Brand and products.
7. Assist in monitoring competitors' activities.
8. Assist in product development activities.

Job requirements

1. Minimum 2 years' experience in the field Marketing
2. Able to work in rotate shift/ public holiday/ weekends

• Achieve sales target and generate sales for the company under Freight Forwarding Division.
• Handle FCL & LCL Sea freight quotations to overseas customers and domestic customers.
• Give timely updates and market trends with all parties involved.
• Assist on providing solutions in all shipment matters.

Requirements:

• Degree and above
• At least 5 years of sales experience in Singapore & Far East market in Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Shipping Industry.
• Proactive, customer focused and excellent communication skills.
