The R&D Senior Packaging Engineer will be a part of the newly formed Sustainability Center of Excellence (COE) located in BD Singapore. The Sustainability COE is modeled after the Sustainable Medical Technology Institute (SMTI) and will have the same mandate as the SMTI. Key responsibilities

• Work with APAC offices (currently including Australia, Singapore, Japan and soon to include India) and international business units on legal issues relating to sales and operations, contracts, and general commercial business matters.

• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, including product sales agreements, services agreements, license agreements, consulting agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.

• Continuously improve and develop Aurora’s contractual templates and processes and provide training to the wider Aurora business on the same.

• Coordinate with local external counsel in APAC markets in relation to local laws and compliance, including in relation to the incorporation and set-up of additional offices.

• Protect Aurora from legal action by interpreting laws and ensuring it meets international legal and regulatory requirements.

• Provide advice concerning business transactions with customers, financial institutions, suppliers and others

Other occasional work may include:

• Manage external counsel as needed for areas of expertise outside company competency.

• Consult with and advise senior management on complex or highly critical issues.

Required attributes:

Reporting to Head of Wheat Research / Head of G&O South and SouthEastAsia (SSEA), this position assists in the generation of profit by providing traders with information pertaining to domestic and export commodity markets.
