Position Summary:
As the Project Manager at Jet Aviation, you will act as the main point of contact towards the customer for all project related aspects such as:
- Supporting project starting and implementation
- Managing project, budget, schedule and quality gates.
- Managing product delivery including paper work
- Reporting to customer and Jet MRO management on project status
- Closing project
PM shall ensure continuous contract compliance, expected GP% performance and managing changes until project closure.
In addition, the Project Manager act as the liaison between the customer and supervisors, engineering, production, SCM and billing. With your hands-on mentality, you manage the project in a pro-active manner, finding the right balance between customer satisfaction and commercial performance of the project. The Project Manager is on top of regulatory requirement and work closely together with the core team to release the AC successfully to service.
Position Summary:
- Review the initial work scope with the Project Specialist (Planner) and take over ownership of the project
- Present and confirm project work scope with the customer during the input meeting
- Create GANTT chart for project execution management
- Raise defects and scope increases to the customer via Additional Work Requests (AWR)
- Investigate parts pricing from SCM or supplier websites
- Track critical parts with the help of SCM
- Open work orders in SAP as required
- Coordinate supervisor and other resource assignment together with P145
- Issue project Financial & Technical status report to customer on a regular basis
- Monitor project: general progress, planed hours # budget, financial performance, R&O, implement mitigation strategies, payment milestones, AWRs, warranty cases.
- Ensure that all additional work is quoted in a timely manner and that customers receive regular updates
- Point of contact for customers’ enquiry, manage customers’ requests or disputes and determine if further escalation is required
- Support Operation and shops supervisors and leaders during the maintenance project
- Work closely together with the billing department releasing down payment, invoices and credit notes (if necessary) as per contract agreement
- Track payments and financial status (GP%) of the project and manage close communication with customer together with the finance department
- Coordinate all required paperwork and documentation for the release to service of the AC (Job cards, work report, logbook, etc.)
- Track occurrence reports investigation until corrective action implementation
- Embrace continuous improvement attitude
- Support customer survey until reply received
- Ensure shift support based on requirement (Friday - Sunday) with P145, shops and moving team.
- Oversee and manage the financial AC release prior departure.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a functional area or relevant work experience in aviation
- Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in aviation
- Technical knowledge in aviation
- Capacity to adapt to a challenging and fast-moving environment, with changing priorities and a dynamic workload
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with tight deadlines
- Ability to work on several MTX projects simultaneously and to set priorities / taking initiatives
- Results driven - able to execute with high personal accountability and without supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Computer literate (MS Office, SAP, CMP, CAMP an advantage)
- High customer service orientation
- Good business and financial acumen
- Strong influencing skills, open mindset
- Project Management Professional (PMP)® certificate or equivalent (f.e. Prince2, etc...) is strongly recommended
