• Min GCE “O” Level or Diploma in Logistic Management / Supply Chain / Business Management.
• Minimum 1 year working experience preferably in a freight forwarding industry, with good knowledge for Air Export business especially on documentation and customs clearance will be an advantage.

Job Description

• Screening the LC swift and advise LC workability/ambiguous clause for LC amendment.
• Send request to Surveyor to prepare split Survey Reports based on Split B/L
• Receive Survey report (from Surveyor) & OBLS (from carrier).
• Send Survey report/OBL copy to customer to receive back up LOI. Sales should send the document copies to the customers.
• Confirmed LOI/s to be sent to Vessel Operators to facilitate Discharge of shipment at POD in lieu of OBL
• Prepares draft Documents as per L/Cs and confirmed Quantities

The Air Freight Coordinator responsibility is to coordinate and monitor Global freight operations, timely follow up and resolution of operations issues to ensure seamless cargo movement. Coordinator is to have close collaboration with Logistics Service Providers (LSP) and 4th Party Logistics to deliver improvements on services, response times and freight performances. Coordinator is to ensure prompt communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders on freight exceptions.

• Liaise with Regulatory Team & Warehouse Team to ensure effective inbound and outbound goods movement.
• Monitor freight Logistics Service Providers (LSP) performance and ensure shipments are executed in the most cost-effective manner within the stipulated shipping window or arrival date.
• Collaborate with freight Logistics Service Providers (LSP) and 4th Party Logistics to explore solutions on freight issues and resolve issues timely.
• Provide guidance to supplier on required process and documentation for shipment arrangement.
• Prepares and follow up on the necessary documents for shipment execution.
• Raise shipping claims against LSP and follow up with divisions and LSP on claims resolutions.

• To implement the air pricing programs required by regional/overseas offices for Singapore.
• Oversee Pricing desk, RFQs, Freightos and Gateway arrangement
