The Senior Technician/Technician performs routine fuel farm operations and maintenance activities in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations. • Perform maintenance on in-house equipment, facilities and vehicles in adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WI)
• Perform housekeeping within the work premises
• Perform stocktake of all Government Furnished Equipments (GFE), Government Furnished Property (GFPs) and in-house equipment

Ensure operational excellence and compliance with quality and safety standards
• Perform operations based on quality, environmental, occupational, health, security and safety standards
• Attend daily briefings including safety/operational briefings and toolbox meeting
• Prepare quality and safety reports and raise any QHSSE lapses at work site or during operations
• Participate in audits as required
• Comply with regulatory requirements of operations site
• Participate in Emergency and Oil Spill Exercise
• Comply with data governance policies

Manage customer experience and relationships
• Perform the day-to-day operations of shift according to customer and contractual requirements

Contribute to continuous improvement
• Participate in digitisation roadmaps of business unit

Manage people, finance and organisational development
• Participate in on-the-job and required regulated training for qualification maintenance
• Monitor and submit documentation for security clearance
• Perform OT/Call Out assignment

Job Requirements

• NITEC and 5 years of experience preferred
• Class 4 and/or Class 5 Driving License and/or Forklift License
• Prior experience with Aviation preferred
• Ability to use Apps and have cybersecurity awareness

Job Description:

As a Class 4 Lorry Driver at the Airfreight Centre, your primary responsibility will be transporting goods and cargo safely and efficiently to their designated destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate a Class 4 lorry to transport goods and cargo.
2. Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe transportation.
3. Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling and securement.
4. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure it is in proper working condition.
5. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
6. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues.
7. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and customer service standards.
8. Represent the company professionally and courteously at all times.

Requirements:

1. Valid Class 4 driver's license with a clean driving record.
2. Previous experience as a lorry driver is preferred.
3. Good knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
4. Ability to operate a variety of vehicles safely and efficiently.
5. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
6. Physical stamina and strength to load and unload cargo as needed.
7. Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
8. Flexibility to work variable hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
9. Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing as required by company policy.
10. Positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
