Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Develop daily plans for the respective third-party logistics (3PL) service providers who are doing outsourced jobs like (i) goods receipt of incoming materials; (ii) warehouse storage and ISO tank staging; (iii) inter-company stock transfers and (iv) value added services such as drumming, labelling, ISO tank heating and ad hoc filtering operations.

• Coordinate with 3PLs for the execution of the daily drumming plans and ensuring product integrity of the drummed product. This includes providing guidance to 3PL on drumming sequence, flushing requirements and highlighting any products quality concerns and specific instructions on drum weight and labeling requirements. • Participate in the audits conducted at offsite facilities and follow up on any gaps and action items to ensure timely closure.
• Responsible for the regular review of 3PLs procedures, Performance tracking and developing Performance Improvement Plans for the 3PL.
• Ensure that work procedures are in place to ensure safe and flawless operations at offsite. This include all workflow processes as well as safety practices in the warehouse and on the road, inventory management practices, for which these must be in-line with contract agreements and local regulations.
• Responsible for scheduling and facilitating 3PL KPI quarterly meetings and follow up on the action items. Some of the 3PL KPI metrics are operations performance, inventory accuracy, product integrity and incidents.
• Monitor and provide updated logistics costs to sales and verify the sub-contractor invoices. Also, in line with managing contract for 3PLs, will support Procurement in contract renewals.
• Responsible for the accurate and timely issue of sub-contracting orders to 3PL via SAP, as well as timely updates (or monitoring 3PL to update) of all inventory transactions, including goods receipt, goods issue, drumming production status, stock transfers, inventory split valuation, BOM and inventory adjustments in the Oronite SAP system.

Job Description - What You’ll Be Doing

• Analyze processes in various segments of the global supply chain, propose and implement improvements.
• Develop appropriate data models, and provide plans for various business types such as procurement, production, sea freight, warehousing, and distribution.

Qualifications - What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree or above from a renowned institution, majors in engineering or supply chain are preferred.
• Over 2 years of experience in the supply chain industry, with strong business understanding, high data and business acumen, and process-oriented thinking.
• Solid foundation in mathematical statistics, proficient in SQL and data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).
• Passion for learning, exploring, and introducing new supply chain management methods, tools, and systems to the company.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible in overall supply chain which includes procurement, shipping, inventory planning and warehousing in Asia regions in Marine Navigation and Communication industry
• Assist other sections and departments in procuring of stock and consumable items at the lowest available prices and yet technically compliant and acceptable within delivery time.
• Evaluate all Vendors/Suppliers and categorize them
• Maintain and update Approved Vendor List on a monthly basis
• Issue purchase orders
• Upkeep and maintain historical records of past and current purchases
• Monitor all returns to suppliers for repair / replacement
• Ensure packing of goods for customers is done in a quality manner
• Prepares Deliver Order and shipping documents pertaining to delivery of spares and equipment to customers.
• To ensure that correct part numbers of equipment and spares are documented in all documents
• Ensure delivery of goods to customers is done in a timely manager
• To assist in the issuance of materials to internal customers
• To receive, check and verify the equipment delivered to the Store in terms of accuracy of item, quantity and quality

• Responsible for handling daily warehousing operation to ensure that customer delivery schedules are met to provide customer satisfaction.

• Responsible to close Cycle Count activities in JDE to ensure timely approval cycle count sheet and completion of ABC items count per the cut-off timeline to ensure SOX compliance.

• Coordinate the quarterly destruction activities with stakeholders. Ensure GN29 license availability for the items, create Destruction Order in JDE and generate commercial invoice for permit application. As well as provide Finance with the cost center to cross charge.
