How you would make a difference

Target Operating Model

• Work with key stakeholders to design an agile operating model that is fit for purpose and appropriate (lean, yet compliant) for a start up business in the Health Technology industry. In particular, drive the move to a more product-led organisation, across product, technology, data, commercial/clients, and other key areas like finance. Develop goals/OKRs and KPIs to create joint accountability across functions and transparency on progress of implementation.
• As part of the TOM, assess and plan for the introduction of high level goals and useable SOPs across the critical processes, including the (product) development and deployment lifecycles (e.g., OKRs, QBRs, user forums, DevSecOps, …)
• Implement and execute the agreed target operating model across the business and different teams (incl. product, data, technology and commercial/client) that transition from the current siloed model to a more joined up and collaborative model, including Vitality and acquisitions.
• Structure, organise and execute the organisation build out in satellite locations, with India as a key focus. Ensure linkage into the new TOM and the product-led organisation.

Help deliver business outcomes, prioritisation and efficiency

• Understand and articulate the workloads across the business, identifying resource contentions. Optimize workloads (prioritization, what not to do) in close collaboration with the various teams and stakeholders, taking advantage of the new product-led organization
• Create transparency on delivery of key company initiatives, focusing on automation and prioritizing available sources-of-truth for reporting purposes, manage challenges, intervene where required to ensure successful outcomes. Support for strategic initiatives and integration of inorganic opportunities

• Act as a business integrator for inorganic opportunities and other strategic initiatives, collaborate closely with Amplify Health’s head of M&A and acquired companies’ management and other key stakeholders to enable and deliver integration plans and outcomes.
• Work, as required, with third parties and acquired companies to deliver fit for purpose plans and governance to expedite integration and delivery of results.

What you need to be successful

Education:

• University Degree in a Business administration, financial or other relevant discipline

Experience:

• 8+ years business operations including reporting and analysis in a multi-national Financial Institution business and / or consultancy business.
• 8+ years’ experience in a software development or consultancy business.
• 3+ years’ experience of supervisory or management experience in the above position.

What you will do

As Head of Risk & Compliance, you will lead, own and be accountable for the end-to-end Risk Management Framework and its effective implementation across business and in accordance with the Board and regulatory requirements.

You will have business reporting line to the Amplify Health Chief Financial & Operating Officer with functional reporting to AIA.

Risk Governance:

Design, implement and continuously enhance Amplify Health’s Risk Management Framework as well as lead and embed Risk Management Framework by working as a second line of defence, for all categories of risk, in all parts of the business.

Develop, maintain and utilise risk and compliance frameworks, policies, standards, and applicable laws to help guide decision making.

Define the risk appetite, risk tolerance which allows to achieve business outcomes.

Establish and assess the adequacy of internal risk controls and monitor that the Business is operating within limits and policies.

Strong Risk Culture:

Instil risk ownership amongst business leaders to promote proactive, positive, risk culture, which is embedded and aligned with the business, and contributes to protecting company’s reputation and assets

Develop and implement ongoing communication and training to embed a strong culture of risk, compliance and ethics.

Risk Management:

Provide quality advice, insight and support to CEO and the Leadership Teams on new initiatives, key projects from compliance, regulatory and risk perspectives. This includes, but is not limited to, providing security and control review on major technology initiatives to ensure that the security standards and requirement are met, and risk mitigation are appropriately implemented

Identify and proactively manage the key risks, with the corresponding controls embedded in the respective policies & standards. Work with business functions on risk treatment plans and monitor execution status.

Embed technology risk framework and processes for governance, risk and control, and help establish a forward looking / proactive view on emerging technology risks and opportunities.

Perform ongoing monitoring of regulatory developments, with a focus on those related to data privacy, protection and security, and provide feedback to functional owners as and when appropriate to address the relevant regulatory requirements.

Annual risk & controls assessment reviewing Amplify Health’s key risks and controls within the business and their operating effectiveness.

Risk Disclosure:

What you need to be successful

· At least 15 years of relevant work experience in Operational Risk, preferably in Technology Risk Management area

· Deep and broad technology understanding on emerging and current standards and best practices regarding security and technology platforms.

· In depth understanding of enterprise technologies (Cloud, DevOps etc.).

· Strong knowledge of Technology Risk Standards and Industry Standards frameworks as well as relevant of regulatory requirements.

· Experience in design and implementation of enterprise policy frameworks including policy / technical writing expertise an advantage.

· Relevant hands-on data analytics expertise leveraging common tools and platform allowing the deep analysis and proactive identification of emerging risk and control issues an advantage.

Reports to the Head of Finance, this position is accountable for the provision of financial, management & regulatory reporting and analysis of the Company in accordance to the applicable accounting and regulatory policies, standards and guidelines. Additionally, he/she is responsible to assist the Head of Finance to manage the financial risks of the Company & where applicable business partner for the CEO and the key divisions.

Finance Governance and Control

• Perform final review of the Company monthly management accounts and financial position to be in accordance to the applicable accounting and regulatory policies, standards and guidelines. Also responsible to assist Head of Finance for the preparation of the board memo in approving these deliverables.
• Assist the Head of Finance to monitor outsourced finance functions & ensure it is according to the agreed service levels and applicable accounting and regulatory standards.
• Responsible to develop and update Business Process Manuals (BPM) relating to the Finance Department according to ICFR and other internal control requirements (ISAE3402). To assist Head of Finance as the coordinator of ICFR and ensuring BPMs are in place accordingly.
• Responsible to develop finance related policies such as Expense Policy, Travel & Entertainment Policy, Forex Policy etc with reference to the Head Office guidelines.
• Assist the Head of Finance in tracking and managing financial risks and contingencies for the Company.

Financial, Management & Regulatory Reporting

• Ensure finance operations activities such as recording of transactions and payments, and the related reports including audited accounts are completed by the shared service providers on a timely basis and in accordance to the applicable accounting and regulatory policies, standards and guidelines. Perform final review on Shared Service Center outputs and be accountable for all the deliverables. Monitor Share Service Centerf service levels/KPI monthly.
• Prepare the relevant analysis and business information to support the Company’s strategy delivery and also financial risk management.
• Establish a framework to automate the delivery of scheduled financial reports to the extent possible.
• Review of tax/GST returns & other correspondence to/with IRAS and assist the Head of Finance for tax optimization and liaison with external tax consultants.
• Where applicable prepare the relevant analysis and business information required to support any other regulatory requirements such as MAS / EDB requirements.
• Assist the Head of Finance in designing and delivering monthly management reports
• Develop and recommend areas for enhancements and improvements for the current systems and processes to meet the challenges and needs of stakeholders. Participate in projects for any development, design, and implementation of new processes, controls, and functionality changes to existing systems and processes.

Financial Planning & Budgeting

• Assist the Head of Finance in the preparation and implementation of the budget, capital plan and strategic plan to ensure timely, reliable and realistic forecasts.
• Assist Head of Finance in reviewing performance against plan, and provide board and management with a clear analysis of variances

Capital Monitoring and Management

• Ensure treasury activities support by Shared Service Centers is provided on a timely basis and in accordance to the applicable policies, standards and guidelines. Provide instructions to Shared Service Centers for execution of treasury activities and perform final review on Shared Service Centers outputs and be accountable for all the deliverables. Monitor Shared Service Centers service levels/KPI monthly.
• Assist the Head of Finance in any cash forecasting, annual cash budgeting, determination of dividend amounts and the associated Capital related approvals. The objective is to optimize the cash and capital in the Company while always having sufficient capital in hand to meet the Company’s business requirements
• Manage time deposit placements or other short term cash investments Manage FX conversions for operational requirements Execute cash transfers between bank accounts for funding arrangements Review annual cash flow budget Manage bank account opening, closing and signatory updates, including e-banking platforms Arrange approvals for and execute dividend remittances Assist the Head of Finance in preparing liquidity stress testing reports, if applicable

Other Responsibilities

• Develop and recommend areas for enhancements and improvements for the current systems and processes to meet the challenges and needs of stakeholders. Participate in projects for any development, design, and implementation of new processes, controls, and functionality changes to existing systems and processes.

Education:

What you will do

You will work in a coaching and consulting capacity as a subject matter expert (SMEs) linked through one or more of the Amplify product offerings that relate to better managing claims risk or healthcare funds. You will prep training material for client teams working in claims, provider management and plan design, amongst others. Qualification, Skills and Experience:

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this position is to support the Finance Senior Manager in the provisioning of financial, management & regulatory reporting and analysis of AH in accordance to the applicable accounting and regulatory policies, standards and guidelines.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Finance Operations, Governance and Control

1. Supports partnering with other function stakeholders in the day-to-day Finance related queries around expense, claims and finance related system queries and issues.

2. Assist in the preparation of the schedules and calculation for monthly billings for Vitality and initiating billings for Amplify as required.

3. Monitor clearing of GRIR aging report with timely escalation should there be long-aged balances noted.

4. Assist in liaising and giving timely instructions to GFS for the recording of transactions and payments. Assist the Finance Senior Manager to ensure finance operations activities and the related reports including audited accounts are completed by Group Financial Solutions (“GFS”) under AIA Shared Services Sdn Bhd (“AIASS”) on a timely basis and in accordance to the applicable accounting and regulatory policies, standards and guidelines. Perform review on GFS outputs and deliverables and escalate as required. Monitor GFS service levels/KPI monthly.

5. Assist in monitoring of actual GOE performance against the Strategic Planning budget and/or latest forecast and performing quality analysis for the MTD and YTD variances for Vitality.

6. Support in performing review of AH monthly management accounts and financial position to be in accordance to the AIA Group accounting policies, applicable accounting and regulatory policies, standards and guidelines.

7. Support in performing the ICFR controls in accordance with AIA Group policies, develop and update Business Process Manuals (BPM) relating to the Finance Department according to ICFR and other internal control requirements (ISAE3402), and support in any other control related initiatives.

8. Support the Finance Senior Manager in developing finance related policies with reference to the Group guidelines. ​

Financial, Management & Regulatory Reporting

9. Responsible for the retrieval of required data and information to support preparation of relevant analysis and business information to deliver AH’s strategy, financial risk management and any other regulatory requirements such as MAS / EDB requirements.

10. Responsible to deliver monthly management reports and assist the Finance Senior Manager in designing or enhancing monthly management reports.

11. Assist the Finance Senior Manager in establishing a framework to automate the delivery of scheduled financial reports to the extent possible.

Financial Planning & Budgeting

What you will do

The Senior Cloud Platform Engineer will be part of the cloud platform team and is responsible for setup and operation of Amplify Health’s Cloud platform. The individual delivers bespoke cloud solutions to product engineering and operations team. Works closely with Amplify Health Enterprise Architecture, Technical Authority, Automation, Security operation teams in ensuring that Amplify solutions are based on approved technologies, comply with security requirements and are supportable.

The Senior Cloud Platform engineer will work alongside the Product Engineering, Security Engineering and Architecture team.

The senior cloud platform engineer is expected to do the below tasks.

· Proactively ensure the repeatability, stability, resilience, and scale of all cloud services across the organization, and make sure our services are available, cost-optimized and fit for purpose early in the product development lifecycle.

· Provide guidance across the Cloud platform team, acting as a subject matter expert and leading best practice techniques.

· Provide coaching to junior team members to improve their skillset and increase knowledge and set the benchmark of quality.

· Continuously evaluate and integrate new cloud technologies and methodologies.

· Provision of test automation services to assist with software quality assurance.

· Implementation and configuration of DevSecOps pipeline for Infrastructure and application Delivery.

· Own Identity and access management, network configuration, storage within the cloud platform.

· Drive adoption and implementation of strategic Amplify Health technologies and architectural principles.

· Work towards implementation of processes and procedures towards achieving ISO and all relevant accreditations.

• Together with Technology Risk/InfoSec function, ensure effectiveness of Cloud security.
• Contribute in technology selection, define & implement standard design patterns/templates, define, run, participate and manage proof of concepts

What you need to be successful

· Degree holder in IT / Computer Science or equivalent discipline.

· At least 15 years work experience within IT Infrastructure functions with at least 7 years in architecture & engineering role.

· An understanding of architecture design & implementations on hybrid and public clouds with fully virtualized environments (IaaS, PaaS), assessment, migration, and adoption of Cloud services at scale.

· Experienced in Infrastructure as Code, Automation, DevSecOps process and public cloud integration.

· Experienced in DevSecOps tools chain.

· Experienced and knowledgeable about Azure AWS, GCP and other leading public Clouds.

· Having knowledge about Office 365, Windows & Linux platforms; Middleware, Database.

· Ability to drive multiple vendors to support a complex enterprise infrastructure environment.

· Deep understanding of Microservice architectures and working containerizationtechnologies (Kubernetes, Docker).

· Deep knowledge of Developer platform and End user platform engineering.

· Work with internal and external partners, carriers, facility operators and our hardware vendors to design and develop connectivity strategy.

· Strong project implementation background, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

· Ability to work under pressure.

· Strong sense of ownership & self-driven

· Excellent communication skills in English
