Job Summary

Reporting to the SAP Basis & PLM Technical Manager (under Infrastructure, Security, and Operations), the Senior IT Analyst is responsible for the operations of the SAP Basis services to deliver SAP projects, support the existing productive SAP applications, manage interfaces and 3rd party integrations and configurations, as well as take care of the tickets and issues from users to support their queries. You will be expected to work with the team in the functional and technical areas for the integration, testing, and deployment of SAP modules. The role will also be responsible for providing support and managing PLM applications integrated with SAP.

Duties and responsibilities

• Deputy to the SAP Basis & PLM Technical manager in managing the entire SAP technical landscape of SAP systems and Satellite systems (S/4HANA & BW/4HANA, ECC, SAP PLM – ECTR, 3D VEG, Cideon, SAP content server, TREX, GTS, CRM, Fiori, Solution Manager, SAPBTP integrations, SAP Ariba, FSM/JAM, SF, Anaplan and Blackline and 3rd party integrations)
• Oversee projects such as SAP system upgrades, installations, migrations, and other projects as needed, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project
• Lead technical resource, who works closely with IT, key business users and leaders to ensure delivery of robust solution throughout the organization.
• Lead and coordinate operational tasks, escalations, and process improvements- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in SAP Basis administration tasks
• Manage periodic maintenance activities such as patching (OS, Database, Kernel, Support Packages and Frontend), Client and System refreshes
• Lead Major Incidents (P1/P2), solving complex problems till resolution
• Ensure SAP landscape systems are in compliance with security policies and guidelines
• Co-ordinate with SAP and other vendors to procure software licenses, support services and technical assistance and engage with vendor support for issue resolution
• Research and implement best practice solutions for new Basis capabilities, integration with Engineering applications, and SaaS applications
• Provide leadership for resolving Basis issues, optimizing services, ensuring the availability, performance, and application security of SAP landscape systems
• Planning of resources based on the project requirements and perform technical project planning, sizing assessments, and capacity planning with various IT teams (Infrastructure, SAP Functional, Business, Third-party vendor, and services provider) to address various system issues and achieve common goals

1. Architecture, design, implementation and optimization of SAP landscapes and dependent technologies

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP Basis Support
• Solid and proven experience in

1. SAP system installation, administration, upgrades, and production support
2. SAP systems performance tuning, and SAP architecture of applications running on Windows/Linux OS, HANA/Oracle/Max DB/SQL/Sybase (in cloud environment and on-premises)
3. OS/DB Migration, System Refresh, Client Copies,Upgrades (Kernel, Support packages and Database), SAP archiving, SAP background jobs handling, SAP Label and network printers setup & administration
4. Configuring SAP NetWeaver identity management SAP Single-sign-on (SSO) for SAPGUI / SAP NWBC and Web application servers and Configure SNC, SAML, and X.509 certificates
5. Cluster resource management for SAP (SuSE Cluster)
6. Backup and restore management, disaster recovery, and ensuring high availability of systems, Server-side scripting (batch, PowerShell, bash)
7. Setup and configuration of technical monitoring, Charm, EWA, BPCA/SEA for Solution Manager 7.2
8. Evaluating and recommending hardware, software, tools, and utilities within the SAP environment. Understanding the customer’s current and future requirements and developing relevant solutions. Ensuring agreed solutions are implemented correctly and on time
9. Incident management, problem management and change management

• SAP Basis Certification (System Administration, HANA, OS/DB migration) will be an added advantage.

What's the Role

As a Senior Business Analyst, Finance & Control, you will work in a highly visible, flexible and collaborative team in a fast-paced semiconductor equipment manufacturing environment.The primary role is to support Director, Business Control on the Financial Controlling of the manufacturing site in Singapore. The incumbent would liaise closely with various other stakeholders within the organization.The ideal candidate is highly energetic, detailed and hands on. This position requires a solution-oriented candidate with a combination of business acumen, knowledge of financial best practices, and an analytical mindset.

The candidate must have the ability to draw key findings from a large data set and provide data driven solutions that are organized and simple to understand. The candidate must have the ability to work well with diverse stakeholder groups across the globe to solve business problems; good communication skills are a must.This is an individual contributor role and reports into Director, Business Control. He/she expects to work very closely with the Business Control team of Global Operations and Finance Shared Services team based in Singapore.

Accountabilities include but are not limited to:

Act a backfill for quarterly and yearly standard cost review/update and perform ad-hoc standard cost revision and cost roll requests during S4 Hana implementation.
Responsible for the actual cost calculation of systems / products and analysis of the variance between the pre and post calculations.
Responsible for production variance analysis.
Responsible for monthly forecast of systems / products and review with Business Unit(s).
Support month-end activities and prepare journal entries.
Develop and sustain "expert-level" understanding of diverse business processes, operational procedures, and financial data.
Represent GOPS Business Control in cross-functional projects or during system implementations.
Seek out opportunities to enhance and automate processes within specific areas to increase scalability and efficiency.
Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

What Will Make You Successful?

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum 5-8 years of costing and analysis experience preferred from manufacturing background.
Familiar with product costing in a manufacturing environment / process.
Demonstrated ability to understand business processes and developed in-depth knowledge in transactional data.
Strong influencing skills that deliver collaborative outcomes.
Meticulous and paying attention to details.
SAP experience required.
Strong knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.
Experience in system implementation and project management is preferred.

• Support and drive ad-hoc projects; including analysing supplier pricing variances; geographical spend profile and indirect expenses such as IT etc. to identify opportunities for cost savings

Position summary:

This position will be responsible as the technical owner taking care of the BPM (Business Process Management) Solutions like K2, Microsoft Power Platform applications in the organization covering all the aspects of leading the governance, design, development, deployment, administration, training, operations and support. Strong knowledge and expertise in UI and UX design processes.

In this role, it is expected to review existing BPM solutions to determine and propose the effective optimization of the system and lead any new development or deployment following industry standards and best practices.

Critical Work Functions:

· Technical owner of these BPM (workflow) solutions as K2, Microsoft Power Apps and Chat Bots

· Define governance for the BPM platform and drive towards establishing the Center of Excellence within the organization

· Ensure the best practices are followed by the delivery team and govern it tightly from the release management perspective

· Fronting new initiatives leading the technical side of delivery ensuring stakeholder expectations are met

· Constantly review and ensure the system performance and to ensure no impact to the business users

· Front and ensure the support team provides quality delivery, quality and feasible solutions

Key Responsibilities:

· Accountable for all aspects of system and lead any new development or deployment following industry standards and best practices for the business solutions planned to be delivered, and ensuring quality delivery of the requirements fulfillment

The ideal candidate will have (education & experience):

· Degree in Computer Engineering

· At least 8 years of IT experience including a minimum of 2 years as technical lead managing or leading delivery in BPM and Chat Bot solutions

· Must have experience in programming languages (Developer) such as Microsoft .Net (Web and Client), ASP, ASP .Net MVC, Java Script, HTML, HTML5, CSS, Microsoft IIS, Web Services (SOAP or REST), Microsoft WCF and ASM .NET Web API, C#, Microsoft SQL and Microsoft data verse

· Must have at least 1 of the Chat Bot tools experience in either Blue Prism or Automation Anywhere or Microsoft Power Automate or SAP iRPA

· Preferably to have certifications like Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSA) or equivalent from other BPM product certifications will be an added advantage.

· Preferably at least 2 years experience in delivery related to user adoption.

· Familiar and comfortable with change management processes.
