Contract Logistics Operation Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the contract logistics operations for Bok Seng Logistics. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective execution of logistics processes and services to meet the needs of our clients. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of logistics principles and practices.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement strategic plans and objectives for contract logistics operations in alignment with company goals and client requirements.

· Manage and oversee all aspects of contract logistics activities, including warehousing, distribution, transportation, inventory management, and order fulfilment.

· Collaborate with clients to understand their logistics needs and requirements, and develop customized solutions to meet their expectations.

· Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, suppliers, and service providers to ensure cost-effective and efficient logistics services.

· Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the performance of contract logistics operations and identify areas for improvement.

· Lead and motivate a team of logistics professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

· Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing contract logistics operations.

· Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.

Job Description:

• Handle all aspects relating to the accounting functions to facilitate the closing of the full set of accounts (eg. GL, AP, AR reconciliation, payroll & etc.)
• Resolving outstanding payments and sending statements to customers. Ensure timely collections from the customers.
• Responsible for preparing month-end and year-end closing schedules.
• Ensure inter-company transactions and balances are reconciled.
• Prepare and ensure compliance with GST filing requirement.
• Liaising with external auditors and tax agent on audit & tax requirements for the year-end statutory audit.
• Verify that all transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
• Handling any other ad-hoc duties or operational issues requiring finance involvement as assigned.

· Assist in managing the rollout of new software applications for business units.

· Collaborate with external software vendors on software application development and systems integration between internal and external applications.

Job purpose

To monitor and maintain the networks, application softwares and hardware systems in the company; providing technical support to local and overseas staff via remote or in person and proposing cost-saving solutions to meet the needs.

Duties and responsibilities

Providing first-level helpdesk and end-user support.

· Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and handheld scanners.

· Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and network infrastructure from end to end – patch panels, UPS, routers, switches, wireless access points, Firewalls, internet connectivity, VPN connectivity etc.

· Required technical troubleshooting skills for Windows 10, 11.

· Knowledge on Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2021.

· Managing of Action Directory and User email accounts, Symantec Endpoint Protection and Veritas Backup Exec Virtualisation preferably VMware.

· Basic networking protocol (DNS, DHCP, VLAN) with advanced printer / peripheral device troubleshooting.

• Manages all activities of month-end and year-end closing activities and prepare P&L, Balance sheet, Cash Flow statement and Bank reconciliation
• Lead month-end closing activities, review and post journals and prepare balance sheet schedule, AP/AR aging reports
• Prepare month-end closing journals for vendor cost, prepayment, corporate tax, forex, FDs, IFRS16 and ad-hoc JVs
• Review and sign-off monthly bank account and reconciliation statement.

Control and monitor closely with drivers on their movement through GPS and TMS tracking systems in real time.
