Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Executive in Corporate Communications to join our team. This role will involve overseeing all aspects of internal and external communications for CCSS, including managing corporate collaterals, content creation, and liaising with service providers. Additionally, this position will take on the responsibility of enhancing SG Cares Volunteer Centre’s branding strategies.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Corporate Communications

• Develop and implement communication strategies to strengthen CCSS's corporate identity and messaging across various platforms.
• Create and curate engaging content for internal and external communications, including newsletters, reports, social media, website content, and more.
• Vet and review content for clarity, tone, and consistency, ensuring alignment with CCSS's values and goals.
• Oversee the production of corporate collaterals such as brochures, annual reports, press releases, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure high-quality visual assets and artwork align with branding guidelines.

Brand Strategy for SG Cares Volunteer Centre

• Develop and execute branding strategies to enhance SG Cares Volunteer Centre’s visibility and engagement.
  • Ensure cohesive messaging for SG Cares initiatives across various platforms, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to promote volunteerism and community service.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Liaise with internal teams and external service providers to ensure smooth and effective communication flow.
• Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, partners, and service providers to support communication efforts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree /Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in corporate communications, content creation, or branding.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proven experience in content creation, copywriting, and managing corporate collaterals.
• Familiarity with design principles and working with design teams (knowledge of design software is a plus).
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing strong and reliable support to the Human Resource Department that comprises of payroll management, administration of employee benefits and compensation, maintenance of employee personal data management and other ad-hoc projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Supporting in the full spectrum of HR functions that aligns to the organisational goals
• Maintaining and ensuring the accuracy of information in the HR systems and the P-files (Electronic and Hardcopy) of individual employees.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business Management, Human Resource or equivalent.
• Candidate must have a proven experience of at least 2 years as HR Officer, Administrator, or other HR position.
• Candidate must have a good knowledge of full-spectrum of HR Generalist functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc).

Job Description:

Operations

• Oversee the process of the day to day finance functions, monthly and yearly closing of financial accounts.
• Ensure that accruals and prepayments are recorded correctly and in a timely manner.
• Review and post journal entries in Navison Accounting System.
• Ensure proper allocation of income and expenses to the respective centres in Navision.
• Review monthly bank reconciliation statements, intercompany accounts, fund balances, accrual/ prepayment/ amortisation schedules.
• Maintain the chart of accounts, cost center and internal order master tables in Navision system.
• Provide guidance and advice on accounting related matters.
• Monitor and forecast cash flow.
• Review and enhance internal policies and procedures to ensure that they are updated and relevant to the current business environment.
• Liaise with external parties such as auditors and banks.
• Supervise and provide guidance to accounting staff.

Accounts Payable Functions

• Oversee the process of all disbursements to Voluntary Welfare Organisations (VWOs), payments to external vendors, staff claims and reimbursement processes.

Audits

• Attend to auditor’s queries and requests for information.
• Oversee the preparation process of annual audit schedules and financial statements.

Management Reporting

• Ensure timely preparation of monthly financial and management reports (i.e. Income & Expenditure, Balance Sheet, Fund Balance) and submission to Executive Directors, including presentation in the Board Meetings.
• Analyse and report significant variances against budget.
• Review and update expense allocation methodologies.

Budgeting

• Assist the Executive Director to prepare annual budget.

Ad Hoc

• Perform other duties assigned by Executive Director.

Job Summary

Responsible for providing case management for released ex-offenders assigned by Yellow Ribbon

Singapore and elderly offenders assigned by Singapore Prison Service, and conducting groupwork for younger and/or elderly offenders, to achieve successful reintegration.

Job Responsibilities

• Establish rapport and build professional relationship with client and significant others (e.g. family, caregivers, etc.)
• Conduct end-to-end casework management with various profile of clients.
• Conduct therapeutic group work for prison inmates who are younger offenders and/or elderly offenders, including design groupwork activities and preparing evaluation report
• Identify service gaps in response to client needs and make recommendations to improve service provision of programmes
• Support the development of programmes through data collection and data analysis (e.g. conduct focus group discussions, individual interviews, etc.)
• Review and refine programmes to target client groups or other stakeholders/partners/ agencies
• Assist in the implementation of new programmes/ services, and promotion of programmes to target client groups or other stakeholders/ partners/ agencies (e.g. understanding of the various services and programmes available)

Requirements

• A bachelor degree in Counselling / Social Work/ Psychology, with at least one year experience with case management service, with counselling and/or experience working with offenders and the elderly folk.
• You are a people-oriented and approachable, and able to conversant in at least one other local language or dialect other than English (i.e. Malay, Tamil, Mandarin, Hokkien).
• You have an interest / passion to work with multiple profile groups.

Frequency of commitment

At least 2 days a week (Monday to Saturday)

Available Timing for each commitment

Morning: 8.30am – 12.30pm

Afternoon: 1.30pm – 5.30pm, 4pm – 8pm (based on needs)

(Note : commitment of 4 hours in any of preferred timing above)

Flexibility

You can choose any of the available days and slots of 4-hour within the week. We are seeking individuals who are able to commit 2 days a week regularly. Service contract can be terminated anytime without notice period.

Service Scope

Outreach (Main Focus)

1. Block combing / door knocking on assigned blocks/units to introduce AAC services and encourage membership registration, also through distribution of flyers
2. Admin - Preparing and maintenance of records and information critical for follow-up actions, and preparing necessary reporting to (Data entry of work done, membership registration & data verification)
3. Report back to centre staff and update on outreach done for the day/any follow-ups required

Befriending & Buddying / Outreach for current members

1. Visit seniors who are under Befriending & Buddying List (once a week/once a month)
2. Check-in/home visit for current seniors who are members
3. Admin – Data entry through online forms on work done

Centre Activity/Programmes (where necessary only)

1. Assist centre staff in running programmes/facilitate simple programmes
2. Admin – Data entry for work done

Preferred Requirements (although not compulsory)

1. Prior experience in home visiting/block combing
2. Have worked/volunteered with seniors
3. Able to work independently / do home-visiting alone
4. Able to do online form filling / basic administrative duties

Service Payment

$12 per hour (all payments subject to CPF prevailing rates)
