• Managing day to day work assignment to the other site supervisory staff (Site technical officers) and maintain records of their deployment.
• Provide Administrative support on all matters related to the project including processing of monthly progress claim payment and attending meetings.

• Work closely with the STO to verify the final as-built submission by the appointed third-party Contractor to ensure that the pipe alignment corresponds to the site alignment
• drawing for Singtel Structured cabling design for private cabling (SingTel and Net Link)
• Coordination of cable pulling works with SingTel Network Operating Centre
• Coordination of day to day outside Fibre cable pulling work with main contractors.
• Weekly reporting of works carried out, apply access for MDF and exchange.
• To comply to safety procedure in accordance to the work health and safety act
• (WSHC) and to use appropriate safety equipment so as to complete the assigned job

• Study drawings, plans, specifications, scope of work & guide the project team
• Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work schedules
• Undertaking project tasks as required
• Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
• Assess project risks and safety issues and provide solutions where applicable

• Ensure to close the job properly in the Workforce Management System (WFM) and pipe coordinates, GPS and as-built records are accurate in GIS system.
• In charge of Singtel claim submission under Streamline and WFM.
• Coordination of day to day outside Fibre termination

Meet the requirements:

• Diploma Civil Engineer or similar qualifications
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications, especially Excel.
• Preferably with 10 year experience in Cable/ Pipe laying projects.
• Mange workplace safety and health in construction sites (CSCPM)
• Advanced Certificate in workplace safety and health (WSHC)
• Building Construction Supervisor Safety (BCSS)
• Work At Height Course for Supervisor (WAHS)
• Rigger and Signalman Course

• Install, maintain, and repair solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including the mounting of panels, wiring, and monitoring equipment.
• Design sustainable energy projects & determine the right technologies for a particular application to meet the requirement of clients. Sustainable energy projects such as PV & Electrical System
• Evaluate & propose alternative solution & system integration for the overall project plan
• Ensure system compliance with regulatory bodies & standards such as SCDF, BCA, EMA, etc
• Manage project scope, cost, schedule & quality of work from site preparation stage till project completion & handover to clients
• Work with agencies, clients & contractors on any technical issues
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved plans, quality standard procedure, safety requirements & in a timely manner
• Provide regular progress update reports
• Carry out troubleshooting, test, repair & installation works as & when required
• Planning, cost control, work measurement & collection of performance data
• Ad-hoc matters as assigned by the Project Manager which is necessary for the execution of the project
• Ensure project technical issues are monitored, resolved & escalated where appropriate
• Conduct on-site surveys to determine the best placement and layout of solar equipment.

• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while maintaining high quality standards and compliance with regulations.
• Prepare detailed reports on job status, issues encountered, and overall system performance.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in solar energy.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Solar Technician or similar role in the renewables sector.
• Familiarity with solar PV systems, electrical wiring, and system installations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in challenging environments.
• Certification in Diploma Electrical or Solar Energy Technology from an accredited institution preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel and perform physical activities as needed.

Roles & Responsibilities:

We are looking for an Engineer who will be in charge of our ongoing Singtel projects & Pipe Laying works.

· Supervise the team to execute all pipes/fiber cable works in accordance with all established operation procedures and engineering instructions.

· Coordinates with various government agencies (LTA, Public Utility Board, Singapore Power Grid, Singapore Power Gas & Telco’s) regarding Singtel’s pipelaying and cable works for project management.

· Ensure to close the job properly in the Workforce Management System (WFM) and pipe coordinates, GPS and as-built records are accurate in GIS system.

· In charge of Singtel claim submission under Streamline and WFM.

· In charge of receiving PO under Ariba and requesting to revise the PO based on the actual quantity of work done & troubleshoot to receive the PO for failed purchase orders.

· Submission of quotations under Ariba for SingTel projects.

· Provide training, guidelines, manuals and SOPs to new staff.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering

· Minimum 12 years of experience as an Engineer in fiber cable works & Pipe laying works.

· Knowledge of Singtel/Net link fiber optic installation works & Pipe Laying works

· Good problem-solving and communication skills

· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
