Job Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

• Greet and engage with customers warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere

Fashion Advisory (Sales)

Job Responsibilities:

Appraisals and Evaluations:

• Conduct thorough appraisals of jewelry items to determine their value
• Provide accurate and detailed documentation for appraised items
• Stay updated on current market trends and pricing for precious metals and gemstones

Customer Service

• Greet and assist customers in selecting and purchasing jewelry
• Provide knowledgeable and professional advice on jewelry selections
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and courteously

Sales and Marketing

• Promote and sell jewelry products to meet sales targets
• Assist in organizing and displaying merchandise in an attractive manner
• Participate in store events and promotions to drive sales

Fashion Advisory

• Achieve individual and store sales targets through effective sales techniques
• Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate records of jewelry inventory, including sales, repairs, and appraisals
• Conduct regular inventory checks and audits
• Ensure the security and proper storage of valuable items

Administrative Duties

• Process sales transactions and handle cash register operations
• Maintain customer records and follow up on special orders and repairs
• Prepare and send out customer notifications for completed repairs or custom orders

Stakeholder Management

• Communicate with counterpart from London as the main liaison in regards to all jewellery related matters

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in fine jewelry background
• Proven experience in luxury fashion retail or a related field is a plus.
• GIA (Gemological Institute of America) certified is a plus
• Strong passion for luxury fashion and a keen sense of style.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-end retail environment.
• Sales-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Knowledge of fine jewelry and diamonds

VIP - Customer Service

• To ensure the service standard in the outlet is maintained at its highest level.
• To personally service selected important customers, maintain clientele's profile and handle customers’ enquiries and complaints.

Housekeeping and Maintenance

• To maintain a high standard of housekeeping and maintenance in the shop.
• To maintain an attractive and appropriate visual display of merchandise on the floor.
• To ensure the store fixtures are in good conditions.

Inventory Control and Security

• To be responsible for stock positioning and the monitoring of stock levels.
• To liaise with Warehouse on stock requisition and movement.
• To manage stock damage and discrepancies.

Operational

• To plan monthly sales target.
• Plan staff’s duty roster and assign duties to staff / deploy staff where necessary.
• Conduct weekly meetings and briefings.
• To assist managers in Sales Commission Report and Manager’s Report.

Supervisory

• To supervise sales staff and the day-to-day operations of the store.
• To coach and evaluate the performance of the sales staff.
• To maintain the team spirit of the sales staff.
• To ensure staff comply with the Company’s rules and regulations.

Training & Development

• To conduct / co-ordinate with the Merchandising department on regular product knowledge training to all sales staff.
• To conduct shop floor orientation and basic product knowledge training to new staff.

Others

• To liaise with the office on various operational matters such as merchandise, accounts, and administrative matters.
• Manage the shop in the absence of the Manager.
• To undertake ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Store Management.

Creation of and subsequent retention of new clients both in store and internationally.

Setting the standard of the very best customer service levels at all times and presentation of your floor.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service and Sales:

• Ensuring that the very best levels of customer service at all times
• Selling, directing and driving sales
• Offering a personalised shopping and styling experience to our clients
• Delivering the monthly and seasonal sales targets working closely with the team to do so
• Ensuring that customers are added to the DSM Database
• Keeping up to date with all current fashion trends and advising customers accordingly on stock availability at DSM
• Maintaining a Customer book of key customers and VIP’s

Stock and Brand Management:

• Brand Ambassador, taking ownership of trading a brand
• Keeping stock replenished and stock rooms tidy
• Regular stock checks
• Taking part in stock deliveries

Skills / Knowledge:

• Retail sales and expertise within a luxury business
• Minimum 1-2 years of retail experience
• Understanding of the Comme des Garcons Fashion House, aesthetic, consumer and sub-brands.
• Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Words and Excel
