We are seeking an individual with site Logistics and Construction experience for the position of Logistic Site Supervisor at Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Singapore operations. The candidate will work directly with the Logistic Construction Manager and the subcontractors throughout the six-year construction phase of the largest multistory data center in Asia (The Project).

Reporting to the Logistic Construction Manager, the candidate will be responsible for coordinating site related works in relation to logistics and planning for all subcontractors to performs their scope of work in the strictest of compliance to the contract documents. This role is focused on working in the field, coordinating all the subcontractors logistic planning and field installation details. The candidate should understand all aspects of construction in relation to executing work on site.

It is expected the candidate will be a very detailed individual with extensive previous experience working as Logistics Site Supervisor on data center projects or other complex technical projects. There will be a significant amount of “hands on” work coordinating in the field with contractors during the delivery and installation of all aspects of the project. The candidate must have excellent Emotional Quotient (EQ) skills and be able to relate to and communicate with the client, the Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. team, subcontractors of all tiers, vendors and immediately establish trust and confidence in his/her ability.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the contract documents (drawings and specifications), phasing plans, logistics interrelationships, construction sequencing and project schedule
• Attend daily jobsite safety meetings and perform weekly project safety audits.
• Attend daily jobsite logistic meeting
• Work with the project safety team to ensure all works are being carried out to the highest levels of safety
• Coordinate with onsite Resident Technical Officers (RTOs) and Resident Engineers (REs) for all required inspections and work verification
• Develop short term look ahead schedules
• Work with Logistic Construction Manager and facilitate problem solving and logistics planning, as may arise, between Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing subcontractors during construction.
• Work intensively with the Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) team to coordinate all field activities and trade coordination in the field
• Work closely with the Logistic Construction Manager to lead all logistics related works in the field
• Participate in the logistics/planning meetings and track all meeting minutes and logistics plans
• Interface with the Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) manager for all client provided equipment and provide logistics plans for all equipment installation
• Ensure that Subcontractors adheres to relevant Quality documentation/records and logistic plans
• Must be able to liaise with Subcontractors regarding deliveries and logistic planning
• Must possess BCSS certificate.

We are seeking an individual with experience in the construction and/or operations of technology facilities for the Equipment Asset Coordinator (EAC) position. The EAC will be responsible for collecting asset information on various equipment throughout the building, which will be stored in an electronic database, to assist the owner in developing a maintenance plan for the building.

The EAC, reporting to the Quality Manager, will be accountable for completing and accurately reporting the equipment asset information.

Responsibilities Specific to the Role:

• Integrate and work as part of a true “One Team” approach on the project, working closely with Fortis co-workers, subcontractors, the owner, and third-party Quality Control (QA/QC) and Commissioning (CX) teams.
• Review the design drawings to identify all equipment in designated areas that need to be catalogued in the database.
• Conduct field walks of the construction site to assign asset tags and collect information on various building equipment, including electrical, mechanical, controls, and other specified equipment.
• All asset information will be recorded electronically on a tablet and uploaded to the database for review and audit.
• Coordinate with various equipment manufacturers and sub-contractors to provide the required information for each asset
• Take photographs of equipment nameplate data and store them in the database.
• Identify any discrepancies between equipment data based on what is installed on-site and report to the QA/QC Manager
• Attend weekly meetings with the QA/QC Manager and owner to report on the progress of asset information.
• Review bi-weekly non-compliance reports issued by the owner and resolve issues observed with asset data.
• Expectations is that 50% of time will be spent in the field on the construction site with 50% in the office to review data.

Knowledge and implementation experience of necessary BIM software technologies is required. This role is focused primarily on coordinating BIM on a large complex program with stringent standards and integrated QA/QC requirements. As the team is built and the project gets underway, the long-term vision/preference is to expand this team and potentially support Fortis Construction, Inc. projects for the same client and ultimately have a Southeast Asia-based BIM department.

The candidate will work as a member of the BIM team in Singapore and is expected to be detail-oriented with extensive previous experience working as a BIM Coordinator. The candidate must have excellent Emotional Quotient (EQ) skills and be able to relate to and communicate with the Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. team, subcontractors of all tiers, vendors and immediately establish trust and confidence in his/her ability.

• Must have extensive knowledge of the features, functions, and limitations of Autodesk and Bentley 3D/BIM Platforms, including experience with complex workflows involving these systems
