Principle Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Full Spectrum HR Management: Oversee all aspects of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits and offboarding.
• Foreign Pass Application: Process and manage foreign work pass applications (WP, SP, EP) in accordance with Singapore's immigration regulations.
• Training and Development: Timely updates on training record, Identify training needs, develop training programs, and coordinate training initiatives to enhance employee skills and competencies.
• Staff Welfare, Insurance, and Childcare Claims: Manage employee welfare programs, administer insurance claims and policies, and process childcare and maternity claims as required.
• Onboarding and Offboarding: Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires and a seamless offboarding process for departing employees.
• MOM Surveys: Ensure timely completion of any MOM surveys sent to the company, such as the Labour Market Survey, to maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• HRIS Systems: Accurately input and manage employee data within the HRIS system, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. Utilize HRIS systems effectively to manage employee data, generate reports, and streamline HR processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word for creating presentations, analyzing data, and drafting documents/letters.
• Document Management: Maintain and ensure proper documentation of HR-related records for easy retrieval of information when required.
• Carry out all other activities as assigned by superiors.

Requirements

• Diploma in Human Resource or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Human Resources role, with a strong focus on generalist HR functions.
• Proven experience in handling foreign work pass applications (WP, SP, EP).
• Knowledge of Singapore's Employment Act and other relevant labor laws.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information and adhere to data privacy regulations.

Operations Executive, Hub

Principle Job Duties & Responsibilities

GAC Singapore is an important Hub Agency Centre that provides comprehensive hub agency services to ships throughout the Asia Pacific region. The successful candidate will co-ordinate and attend to our principal’s port agency requirements in the Asia Pacific Region.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordination and monitoring of portcalls

• Port cost proforma verification

• Identifying and negotiation of cost savings

• Monitoring of vessels portcall

• Preparing reports as required

• Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma in Maritime / Shipping is preferred.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Possess relevant working experience in shipping and maritime. Candidates with experience in maritime/shipping industries or related job function eg, commercial, operations is encouraged to apply.
• Fresh graduates in maritime studies are welcome to apply.

IT Executive

The candidate will be part of the team to provide IT support and maintaining network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor LAN\WAN network switches, routers, and physical environment.
• Provide support to domestic and remote end-users to resolve problems (hardware/software/network) on their workstations and related peripherals (such as desktops, notebooks, printers, phones and WIFI)
• Servers, database and IT infrastructure maintenance and support including configuration and upgrade.
• Administration of Windows 2022, Active Directory, VMware and SAN storage
• Managing in-house application systems
• Perform any other IT related tasks and duties as assigned by management.
• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology related fields.
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in IT end user support and operations
• Experience in administering Active Directory domain, Group Policy & SharePoint

The successful candidate will develop more logistics business by hunting for new clients, with focus (minimum 75%) on Marine Logistics, but also able to sell other GAC Singapore Logistics products.

As a member of the Logistics sales team, they will contribute to the success of the team and GAC Logistics.

• Develop new customers and create/increase gross profit.
• Perform telemarketing and visit both potential and existing customers to increase sales and built rapport for customer retention. Arrange local sales campaigns for visiting overseas partners/ agents.
• Oversee and be involved in Commercial strategies, their implementation and related activities.
• Focus on business development and pro-actively seek out new business opportunities whilst identifying opportunities for growth within existing businesses.

The incumbent will oversee, control and direct Shipping operations, Disbursement Accounts operations, Shipping commercial operations. The incumbent will also develop and implement the Shipping Department’s strategic plans with the overall objective of operational and service excellence, income growth and profitability of Shipping Services which include Agency, Husbandry etc.
