Responsibilities

• Drive and achieve category sales, gross profit, income goals and objectives of assigned categories through monitoring trends within the market segments; developing strategies to grow the market share of assigned categories; and to plan strategies to counter competition.
• Develop and implement a good inventory management process so that there is an optimum product mix that focuses on customers’ needs and the process achieves shrinkage reduction objective.
• Develop and implement promotional plans that bring excitement and incremental sales to the stores.
• Develop and implement placement and planogram strategies that improve category turnover and positively influence customer shopping behavior.
• Oversees the implementation of category strategies as well as the development of the private label or house brand products.
• Ability to source for new brands or products, and build strong relationships with business partners and is well-informed of consumer, market and industry trends

The Role

He/She is responsible for leading and driving sales and profitability over multiyear Digital and Partnerships strategy with a strong focus on digital innovation, including the company's online channels. • To create and develop Guardian store development programme. The Role

As the Assistant Atrium & Event Manager, you will be responsible for devising and executing strategies to maximize the profitability of our atrium events. This role will require a proactive approach in engaging suppliers, curating brand partnerships, and collaborating closely with landlords to optimize the event space for both attendees and brands. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of turning events into revenue-generating opportunities.

Responsibilities

Event Profitability

• Develop, implement, and execute a comprehensive strategy to transform atrium events into profitable ventures, including budget management, revenue forecasting, and cost control measures.

Supplier Engagement

• Identify, negotiate with, and manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services while optimizing costs.

Brand Growth

• Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to attract prominent brands to participate in atrium events, creating win-win partnerships that enhance their exposure and contribute to event revenue.

Tenant and Landlord Collaboration

• Work closely with landlords to align event objectives with property goals, ensuring seamless event execution while maintaining positive relationships with tenants and property management.

Event Planning and Execution

• Oversee the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of atrium events, ensuring exceptional attendee experiences, adherence to brand guidelines, and alignment with revenue targets.

Data Analysis

• Collect, analyse, and interpret event data and attendee feedback to identify opportunities for improvement, refine strategies, and make data-driven decisions.

Team Leadership

• Lead an operations team and support staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Compliance and Safety

• Ensure all events comply with local regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies, maintaining a secure and pleasant environment for all attendees and participants.

Requirements

• Business Acumen: Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and revenue generation skills. Ability to negotiate favourable terms with suppliers and partners.
• Event Management: Proven experience in planning, organizing, and executing large-scale events. In-depth understanding of the events industry, including trends, best practices, and regulations.
• Relationship Building: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with suppliers, brands, landlords, and tenants.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective event strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis tools to measure event performance and make data-driven decisions.

The Role

The Event Executive will play a vital role in supporting the Atrium team in planning, coordinating, and executing successful atrium events that align with the company's objectives.

Responsibilities

• Event Execution: Assist in the planning, setup, and execution of atrium events, ensuring they run smoothly and according to established plans.
• Team Leadership: Supervise event coordinators and support staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with the Atrium and Operations Team to engage and manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and service providers to ensure optimal event delivery.
• Tenant Liaison: Work closely with tenants and property management to address their needs, gather feedback, and ensure their satisfaction during events.
• Logistics Management: Oversee logistical aspects of events, including setup, signage, equipment, and other operational requirements.
• Data Collection: Assist in collecting event data, feedback, and insights for analysis to optimize future event strategies.
• Problem Solving: Handle any unexpected challenges that may arise during events, finding quick and effective solutions.

Requirements

• Experience in event coordination or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including tenants, vendors, and event attendees.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on ensuring adherence to safety standards, company policies, and local regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think on their feet and adapt to unexpected challenges.
• Data analysis skills to assist in collecting and interpreting event data for future strategy development.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (a plus).
