Job Responsibilities
- Build an in depth knowledge of all JEB brands and product ranges, so that one may act us a furniture consultant to the A&D, project managers and client.
- Be responsible for JEB product sales & services including strengthening customer relations, assist in problem solving whenever necessary, handle all enquiries for JEB furniture related brands & products.
- Take the lead in handling sales operations within JEB.
- Proactively generate new business opportunities through previously gained sales skills.
- Introduce creative and effective strategies to optimize sales and boost team performance.
- Liaise especially closely with key Architects & Designers on a regular basis to maximise sales opportunities.
- Knocking on doors, setting up of appointments and arrangement of presentations to potential and existing clients from a business prospective.
- Carry out regular follow ups to potential & existing clients to ensure you’re covering every inch of the market.
- Communicate and manage expectations by fully utilising available JEB reports, CRM technologies and available resources.
- Measure sales rep activity on a weekly/monthly basis to ensure that time management/goal achievement is attained.
- Build a comprehensive understanding of technical drawings and ensure all product details are captured, to ensure CAD department can design correctly.
- Be constantly aware of changing market conditions, workplace requirements, price points and lead-times.
- Source new furniture brands/products where necessary, to maximise opportunity for success on any given project.
- Liaise regularly with QS teams & suppliers in view of product feasibility and price points for each project.
- Converse with clients regularly and attend tender briefing on fit-out works requirements.
- Gather all information for tenders and quotation, however one must be able to specifically instruct sale teams / admin on what to prepare and for whom.
- Communicate good news and bad news as quickly as possible. We can then deal with it appropriately.
