Job Description & Requirements

• Lead a project design team from inception to delivery of hyperscale data centres with related activities for new builds and fit out projects
• Liaise with and support the Development Manager and senior management on client and customer proposals to ensure that there is seamless transition once projects are implemented
• Collaborate with our top cloud and enterprise customers and communicate presentations on all aspects of design
• Develop high level master planning, space planning and engineering solutions for potential new developments (feasibility stage)
• Produce consultant briefs to develop designs from feasibility stage through concept, scheme and detailed design stages, ensuring continuity of design philosophy and approach
• Coordinate technical aspects of direct procured equipment and facilitate alignment with the design team
• Understand commercial implications of engineering decisions and build cost models for customers.
• Leverage local subject matter expert's tribal knowledge, spread adoption of best practices
• Coordinate closely with data centre field operations to foster alignment and partnerships for business success
• Provide regular reporting, updates and presentations to senior management and internal stakeholders including progress reporting, risk assessments, investment committees, customer proposals and business case development.
• Build and manage project scope, equipment requirements and assist with proposals and capital requests
• Stay updated on data centre industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, incorporating them into designs and builds as appropriate

Job Requirements:

• 10+ years' experience in design and project delivery;
• A Bachelor’s engineering degree is a plus
• In-depth understanding of Australia business regulations with extensive experience working with relevant Partners in the region.
• Experience working for a data centre operator and previous hyperscale and cloud experience, ideally in the Asia Pacific market
• Good overall knowledge of the current data centre market in Australia
• Excel at communication and can deliver effective presentations on data centre operations to customers, peers and management
• Strong leadership and foresight to lead multi-disciplinary teams across multiple geographies

Responsibilities:

Program Management

• Collaborate with initiative teams to drive adoption of our products and services through the creation/curation of required learning programs, as well as to create a learning culture in the department.
• Facilitate learning experiences to lead groups through a series of workshops and retrospectives
• Create quizzes and activities for learning content
• Perform administration for learning registration, attendance, gather feedback and produce learning metrics reports
• Recommend and creation of next steps on learning roadmap based on data from programmes
• Create quizzes and activities for assessment of individual knowledge
• Gather feedback of the learning courses through various channels, e.g., questionnaires/surveys, discussions with managers.
• Track and provide regular learning metrics report and learning achievements, using standard MS Office tools such as MS Excel, power points, etc.

• Maintain an up-to-date course list and content in the MS SharePoint

Instructional Design

• Work with SMEs and help them create and onboard their new courses to the most effective learning channel and format, as well as suggest improvements to existing platform.
• Design, storyboard and develop online learning courses using Articulate Rise or Storyline, working with Subject Matter Expert (SME) in creating learning content

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, IT or in related majors.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience in instructional design, learning curriculum in an IT environment

Requirements:

• Degree holder from a recognised institution.

• Ability to use modern methods from neuroscience, artificial intelligence (AI) and data science to influence better learning outcomes.
• Ability to understand cognition for pedagogy and andragogy will be useful.
• Curate learning systems using artificial intelligence/ machine learning as a vehicle to address opportunities, identify gaps and seek solutions for learning across all ages.
• Extensive knowledge of education landscapes, policies, pedagogies, and practices, both regionally and globally. Preferably with direct experience in designing, implementing, and integrating education innovations (eg Web 3, GPT-4 etc) for scale.
