As Non-Volatile Engineering (NVE) System Integration (Solution) Product Engineers at Micron Technology, Inc., we are responsible for the integration of new non-volatile products into various system solutions (SSD, UFS, uSD). We ensure end-product challenges are solved in the right place for maximum value and streamline overall development effort, complexity and risk. We enable parallel NAND and System development through feature optimization and innovative solutions, demonstrating technical expertise in both sides.

We are at the helm for system triage activities through failure analysis on both NAND Component and System-level to identify source of failure, capable to drive issue-based taskforce to establish solutions to unblock critical system development. We will also innovate system triage methodology through the use of Machine Learning for cycle-time and efficiency improvement.

We strive to drive understanding of NAND Features application in systems thereby supporting validation improvements during NAND development. We also review NAND testing methodology towards required System guarantee.

To enable systems with outstanding performances, we identify non-ideal NAND performance behavior in Systems and path-find solution space to resolve system performance impact. We also drive NAND vs System performance sensitivity evaluations and specifications refinement to improve modelling with better clarity.

As a Firmware Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will build groundbreaking high-performance controller firmware for volatile and non-volatile memory systems. You will assist in the evaluation, creation, build, bench testing, debugging, and failure analyzes of firmware for new high-performance memory controllers and Solid State Drives (SSD) that will improve performance, while reducing power, latency and SoC (System on Chip) complexity for the target sectors. You can expect to partner multi-disciplinary Engineers seek multi-functional product development issues. Experience / Skills:

Data Analytics and Reliability Test Architect:

• To enable proactive methodology for intrinsic and extrinsic defectivity (DPM) reduction at wafer level using advanced Machine Learning/Deep Learning product-dispo techniques.
• To develop state-of-art and advanced algorithms, encompassing Machine Learning and Deep Learning models to boost and enhance data-mining and pattern recognition for quality and yield improvement.

As a NAND Silicon Design Validation Senior/Principal Product Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible in developing, validating, characterizing, and qualifying new state-of-the-art NAND Flash memory products. In this role, you will be involved in pre-silicon conceptual design and preparation work, run simulations, create and maintain design and validation documentation, analyze bench and parametric data as well as to debug & resolve yield, quality and reliability failures due to design related issues. You will also refine and develop best known methods and automation for design validation of current and future products.

You will also be responsible to work with NAND R&D, Designers and other various Engineering functional groups to troubleshoot, develop and validate new designs to meet specific product requirements. Product Engineers are the key product-specific point of contact for critical issues and act as the main interface between Research and Development, Manufacturing, Business Units, and Quality Assurance departments.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for new product startup to deliver product specifications and requirements
• Define and validate product configuration parameters
• Create validation flow for silicon design margin characterization and validation in volume.
• Support design verification and in-depth circuit of new products using CAD tools and Verilog simulations
• Identify design marginalities and recommend design fix for circuit-related problems
• Perform electrical failure analysis to understand the root cause of device marginalities or failures
• Utilize engineering bench and testers to perform device characterization and electrical failure analysis

Qualifications/requirements:

Responsibilities:

• Support for CXL Product Failure Analysis from NPI to HVM stage.
• Responsible in fulfilling product yield milestones during both NPI and HVM stages through optimization of test methodology & test flow.
• Develop tool/script to support yield evaluation, data analysis and test correlation, including Product Database maintenance & management.
• Perform CXL characterization to optimize product performance.

Your objective is to develop full factory tool layout models that will be the basis of design for industry leading manufacturing facilities across the globe. You will be part of a diverse group of highly skilled layout professionals who are responsible for tool layout design, construction design support, and the layout business process. In addition, you will partner with Micron’s Technology Development team to develop innovative semiconductor production tools that deliver word-class, trail blazing, capabilities that solidify Micron’s manufacturing leadership.

Primary Responsibilities

• Generate Layout models for Micron’s U.S. manufacturing sites that meet or exceed established critical metric targets.
• Establish Layout requirements during Micron’s quarterly business plan reviews.
• Collect and analyze Layout date for Micron’s manufacturing sites to find opportunities for improvement, recommend design changes, and identify new processes that will improve Micron’s overall manufacturing efficiency.

As a Senior Equipment Engineer/Equipment Engineer in the NTI, you will be expected to support R&D activities associated with rapid deployment of First-of-Kind equipment, the CIP hardware evaluations and managing on the timeline needed to deploy in current technode/next advance technode on time. Good team spirit and good collaborations working is needed with various stakeholders including (not limited to) facilities/fab support/Gas & Chemical/EHS/F4/F10/Central team etc with various equipment setup and improvement work necessitated thereof as well as to ensure extended engagement with F4 on the upcoming First-of-Kind equipment in upcoming technode. Expected to work independently with minimal direction and complete projects in a timely manner and achieve set objectives.

Responsibilities

• Install First-of-Kind equipment and/or CIP hardware for evaluation by the process development team to enable early introduction, maturity, and adoption for current and next node of 3D NAND technology.
• Work with the Fab layout and facility team to ensure smooth and on time installation and operation of the equipment.
• Work with process development team to quantify benefits of equipment/CIP hardware.
• Develop and optimize existing equipment hardware to meet the productivity requirements of advanced 3D NAND parts.
