The Job

This role is responsible for overseeing Programme Services and Afterlife Care of our elderly beneficairies.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Possess a thorough understanding of Charity’s programs and services.
• When necessary, liaise with relevant bodies to arrange for the member's last rites.
• Create, maintain, and update accurate case files and database of each Afterlife Care members
• Conduct home assessments for potential Afterlife Care members
• Handling of Afterlife Care walk-in or telephone enquiries.
• Following up with cases reported from the hotline or referral from government agencies.
• Explore avenues for the expansion of the Afterlife Care external parties.
• Implement community outreach programs and new projects of eldercare
• Organise and facilitate an elderly befriending program.
• Conduct periodic case reviews and ensure proper documentation
• Refer and coordinate care services, ensuring adequate support to Afterlife Care members.
• Adopt a case management approach when working with beneficiaries, i.e., network with other agencies/specialists to provide multidisciplinary assessments and monitor beneficiaries.
• Prepare monthly reports on the progress of the Afterlife Care programme(s).
• Ad-hoc assistance in the Charity’s events

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Social Work or related disciplines
• Prior experience in Social Service setting is preferred
• Able to engage, assess, and provide intervention independently for care plans
• Knowledge of eldercare services, regulations, and practices.
• Ability to work independently.
• Compassion, empathy, and a genuine interest in elder care and charity work
• Proficient in MS Office Applications
• Able to work on some evenings and weekends as needed
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin. Ability to speak dialects will be an advantage

Job Description:

• Support the work of the Community Engagement team
• Assist in planning and coordinating events, including logistics and setup
• Support event registration, volunteer management, and on-site operations
• Help with promotional materials and outreach efforts
• Manage and update the store using Excel spreadsheets
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to execute campaigns, events, and activities
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Experience and Skills:

• Experience with event planning and coordination, design, logistics, and bookkeeping is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Registration and collection of payment from patients
• Attend to patient queries
• Ensure the clinic is ready for operations before opening
• Dispensing of medicine
• Ensure the patient receives the right medicine
• Cleaning & general maintenance of the packaging machine
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the clinic
• Ensure a ready supply of Chinese medicine and medical supplies for use.
• Assist in monthly stock-take.
• Submit an end-day report together with cash collections to Finance
• Any other tasks as assigned

The successful incumbent plays a key role in supporting the Centre Manager in the coordination of fundraising activities.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement fundraising initiatives, campaigns, and events to meet fundraising targets
• Leverage digital technologies and social media to enhance fundraising efforts
• Manage and nurtures relationship with existing donors and prospect to grow the donor bases
• Prepare funding proposals, donation appeals, sponsorship packages and appreciation letters
• Develop and design marketing collaterals
• Liaise with community partners in regard to donations, volunteering, and engagement activities
• Ensure fundraising activities and events comply with prevailing regulatory requirements
• Provides administrative support which includes managing donor database, budgets, procurements, fundraising records, and prepare monthly reports
• Supporting any other corporate events as and when directed

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in a related discipline
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• 1 to 2 years of fundraising experience including corporate fundraising, sales, and event management
• Able to take instruction
• Attentive to details and able to multi-task
