Job Description

• Handle full set of accounts including GST submission
• Perform accurate data entry to computerized accounting system
• Prepare necessary schedule such as Fixed assets, prepayments, accrual etc
• Responsible for invoicing and accounting function
• Perform bank reconciliation and balance sheet schedule
• Prepare payment requisition, handle petty cash, claim and etc
• Prepare bank in cash, cheque, sales register
• Other ad-hoc admin duties as and when required

Skills & Experience

• Diploma / Degree holder in Accountancy
• Good communication and interpersonal skill
• Able to work independently and as a team work
• GST knowledge is a must
• Knowledge of ERP system is an added advantages
• Good in MS Excel
• Proficient in verbal and written in English and Chinese to be able to interact with Chinese speaking customers effectively

Job Description:

This is a full time role for an Account Assistant located in Changi. Our clients are Freight & Logistics Services. You will be responsible for managing the full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and fixed assets. Daily tasks include processing payments, handling accounts receivable billings, journal entries, monthly schedules, bank reconciliations, and staff reimbursements. The position also involves preparing financial and management reports, audit schedules, inter-company reconciliations, and quarterly GST returns. Additionally, the role requires liaising with external auditors, tax agents, and professional advisors, with flexibility to take on other ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experienced in full sets of accounting
• At least 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience
• Organised, meticulous and able to work within deadlines
• Highly proficient in SAP and MS Excel

Accurate and timely month-end financial closing and daily task

· Prepare revenue invoices and statement of accounts, ensure correctness and completeness.

· Prepare/record supplier invoices and ensure correctness and completeness.

Manpower management

· Assist to provide the documents (certification and medical report) for project mobilization

· Assist on VISA application (providing documents)

· Arranging medical/PCR booking, airticket, accommodation and transportation

· To keep track of certificate and medical certificate validity for all workshop techinicians

· Other training and development arrangement for technicians

· Liaise with workshop coordinator and technicians on Field Service timesheet and OT form for payroll and financial closing purposes

Ad-hoc

· Assist in new processes and system implementation.

· As required.

Requirements

· Willing to work at Loyang Offshore Supply Base.

· Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.

· Diploma/Degree in Accounting or ACCA/CPA only.

· Ability to work well in teams and independently.

· Strong organisational skills, attentive to detail with the ability to meet tight reporting deadlines in a multitasking environment.

· Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a highly collaborative work environment.

· Responsible, good working attitude, proactive, minimum supervision and willing to learn new skills.
