As the Cluster Design & Social Media Executive for Holiday Inn Singapore Little India & Holiday Inn
Express Singapore Clarke Quay, you are responsible for creating impact with a creative social-first
approach, and facilitating relationships with guests through community management. With an eye
for design, you will be developing and executing the brand’s visual identity for online and offline
marketing to drive a consistent brand experience and cultivate brand loyalty.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media
- Ideate, develop and manage the hotel and signature restaurant's monthly social media content with eye-catching visual assets in accordance with approved social content strategy.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media trends and emerging platforms, and identify innovative ways to trendjack and leverage on the trends to promote the hotels’ services.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support the successful execution and production of content.
- Acquire, manage and nurture partnerships, media and KOLs to drive awareness and engagement through user-generated content and conversion (online and offline) among key source markets.
- Strategise and implement social media advertising campaigns to drive high quality traffic and conversions, and regularly monitor performance to ensure optimisation of all campaigns.
- Measure and report performance of all social media platforms, and assess against KPIs.
Design & Creative
- Creative production of online (e.g. social media, EDM) and offline content (e.g. POSMs, guestfacing collaterals) marketing to deliver a compelling brand story, including but not limited to conceptualization, design development, photography & videography production and copywriting.
- Custodian of brand standards across two distinctive brand identity, ensuring marketing collaterals are reflective of standards while conducting frequent audits and content hygiene maintenance.
Others
- Contribute to ongoing guest service excellence and community engagement efforts by responding to enquiries on social media and guests’ reviews on brand and online travel agencies’ websites in a timely, personalised and professional manner.
- Strengthen customer relationships through social and earned media, monitoring both hotel, R&Bs and competitors’ presence on social media for performance enhancement.
- Work closely with the greater Marketing team on marketing activities and utilizes best practices to provide a consistent brand experience and cultivate brand loyalty.
- Ensure timely and accurate tracking of marketing expenses.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Reports to the Cluster Marketing Manager. Interacts with guests and individuals outside the hotels
including, but not limited to, current and potential clients, owning company representatives,
agencies, suppliers, competitors and other members of the local community.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Preferred 1 – 2 years of experience of marketing experience in handling graphic designing and
social media role. Bachelor’s degree in marketing is preferred. Graduate degree in a related field is
desirable.
- Familiar with social media landscape and digital marketing channels/tools.
- Demonstrated experience in art directing, collaterals conceptualization and designing.
- Basic knowledge of editing programs and tools. Programs include, but not limited to Adobe
- Software.
- Strong linguist with effective English and Chinese literacy.
- Problem solver at heart with a can-do attitude, who can navigate through ambiguity.
