Overall Purpose of Job –
The primary role of the Project Manager (Infrastructure) is to lead infrastructure-related projects and support Enterprise Network and security (ENS) project initiatives. This involves assisting the project sponsor in driving and managing the end-to-end deliverables for the project lifecycle, from Conceptualization to solutions, Implementation, and then transitioning the project into Operation.
The role is expected to oversee the technical implementation of the solution against the SoW while working closely with the business and other infrastructure teams to achieve the desired outcome.
Key Responsibilities –
- Define and determine the project scope and objectives.
- Identify the resources needed to reach the objectives and manage them effectively and efficiently.
- Prepare budget based on the scope of work and resourcing requirements.
- Track project costs to meet the budget.
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule along with the associated work breakdown structure.
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about the overall status, project change and progress.
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
- Utilize industry best practices methodology, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution.
- Monitor progress and adjust as needed.
- Comfortable with Stakeholder Management.
- Conflict management.
Required Skills & Knowledge –
● Experience in managing projects with a minimal budget exceeding $300,000.
● At least 5 to 7 years of project management experience handling enterprise-wide upgrade or technology refresh projects is a must.
● Extensive knowledge and experience in implementing large-scale ICT infrastructure projects, particularly around Disaster Recovery, Server & Storage and Network infrastructure would be required.
● Familiarity in technical services delivery and management, preferably ITIL would be advantageous.
● Competency with spoken and written English to facilitate communication.
● Experience managing projects across multi-vendor environments and matrix organizations is a must.
● Strong Knowledge in networking & infrastructure operation components would be good to have.

Required Work Experience (Brief description of the job-related experience needed to perform the job)-
● Experience in project planning, scheduling, tracking, control, and customer handling.
● Demonstrates in-depth understanding of organisational operational policies, processes, and methodologies applicable to project management.
● Ability to communicate effectively with expertise from the different layers related to project management methods.
● Experience with “on-premises to cloud” migrations or IT transformations is a plus.
● Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
● Proven operation experience in managing Network and security operations or infrastructure related roles would be advantageous.
