The Director, Marketing, Communications & Partnerships reports to the Executive Director and works closely with the Board members and stakeholders.
The incumbent is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives and forging partnerships with potential partners and donors to drive fundraising efforts and deliver good outcomes for the beneficiaries and families. He / She will oversee communication strategies and branding efforts, to ensuring a consistent brand image and messaging across all communication channels.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing
- Collaborate with Education Services to develop Branding and Marketing Strategy.
Strategic Communications
- Develop and implement effective communications strategies to manage corporate branding, media relations, fund-raising, and other engagement initiatives.
Fundraising & Donors Engagement
- Develop and manage a portfolio of prospective donors to contribute towards the long-term financial sustainability of NLCS Group.
Partnership Management
- Lead the identification, cultivation and management of strategic partnerships with external stakeholders.
Volunteer Management
- Develop and implement engagement strategies to recruit volunteers with the right skills and ensure retention and satisfaction.
- Drive the volunteer management programme to train, deploy, support, retain and appreciate volunteers.
- Communicate volunteer opportunities and initiatives to partners and the community, promoting volunteerism and engagement.
Project Management
- Meticulous project management skills with attention to details and an analytical mindset. Proven ability to manage marketing projects from conception to completion, ensuring the team meets timelines and delivers quality results.
Budget & Resource Management
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and maximising ROI. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and document processes.
Requirements:
- Degree or Post Graduate Degree in a relevant professional field from an accredited institution.
- At least 10 years of experience in social services sector / non-profit organisation, community outreach, partnership building, or fundraising.
- Strong track record in delivering community impact and in engaging with community work or in working with beneficiaries from vulnerable backgrounds.
- Strategic, innovative, articulate and motivated – a go getter.
- Excellent in interpersonal and communication skills, able to prepare messages for pitching to donors and prospects. A high level of written and presentation skills is advantageous.
- Leadership skills – to influence, guide and mobilize team members to achieve high standards of service delivery.
- Able to work independently and a team player with internal stakeholders.
- Ability to network effectively with government agencies, churches and community partners.
