Job Duties:

• Be accountable for accurate and timely release of testing data to customers and oversee standard and/or routine technical problem solving activities
• Interact with customers on technical issues and questions and provide input and support on business development opportunities with new or existing customers
• Provide formal and informal presentations on conventional and/or routine testing to a wide range of stakeholders
• Assist in the professional development of novice technicians and engineers within the local laboratory and utilize an assortment of skill, methods, procedures and materials in advanced testing analysis
• Be adept at drawing on internal knowledge as well as industry and/or academic resources in reaching testing conclusions

Job Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelors of Science degree in a science or testing related field with a minimum of 2 years’ pertinent post degree engineering experience, or advanced academic/professional qualifications
• In-depth understanding of testing concepts and able to apply academic knowledge within the context of Element’s business

You will work closely with our sales and technical teams to provide comprehensive solutions that meet our clients' needs and contribute to our revenue growth.

How you will do it:

• Customer Engagement: Identify potential clients and develop a deep understanding of their equipment and maintenance needs.
• Solution Development: Collaborate with technical teams to design service agreement proposals that align with clients' requirements and budget constraints.
• Presentation: Deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing the benefits of our service agreements.
• Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions to secure service agreement contracts, ensuring they are mutually beneficial for both the client and the company.
• Relationship Building: Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor for service agreements.
• Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to adapt your sales approach effectively.
• Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activities, progress, and achievements to the sales manager.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of our services, products, and the technical aspects of the service agreements offered..

Responsibilities:

• Provide first level end user support including troubleshooting, escalation of the issues to vendors, applying upgrade/patches to Desktop/Laptop, software, and hardware installation.
• Provide support for M365, Intune and Sharepoint is must.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access right to file server and Sharepoint. Procurement of IT equipment for end users

• Ensure compliance with IT security standards, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee the daily running of the IT department ensuring that all systems are functioning properly.
• Setup, installation and deploying of computer.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Engineer.
• Working experience in M365 and Sharepoint Creation/Migration is must.
• Able to read and write a simple scripting.
• Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Ability to multi-task, take initiative and manage priorities.

Overview

• Perform on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various IT equipment, including but not limited to laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, network switches, NAS, and NVR within office premises.
• Oversee and manage SaaS platforms including, but not limited to, Office 365, Zoom, and other cross-platform software. ensuring seamless operations and addressing any user concerns or issues promptly.
• Responsibilities include setting up and configuring email, VPN, printers, and Remote Desktop services to ensure smooth transitions for new and departing staff.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between internal software developers and external IT vendors, addressing feature requests and resolving any issues or conflicts that arise in a timely and efficient manner.

Job Requirement

• Minimum ITE in IT or equivalent and 2 years of professional experience.
• Proficiency with management of SaaS and web-based applications.
• Experience with networking and Linux systems
• Job scope requires occasional weekend commitments for downtime upgrade works. Flexible working hours, including occasional weekend assignments for downtime upgrade works.
