Job Specifications (Plant Manager- Plant Based Food Manufacturing)

· Provide expertise in equipment and production process of beverage manufacturing, including Can Filling and PET lines.

· Manage and execute production operations, processes and routines.

· Ascertain that all processes are carried out in accordance to the company's food safety policies and GMPs.

· Monitor, control and improve product quality, ensuring the products are produced within standard of quality, productivity and costs.

· Identify and resolve operational problems in a timely manner to prevent any mishandling and production delay.

· Initiates and implements process improvements and maintain production SOPs.

· Implement workplace safety and health, GMP and HACCP required for plant operation.

· Plan and organize manpower including recruit, train and onboard new employees and production workers.

· Oversee operations to ensure safety.

· Develop plans that help operations run smoothly.

· Create and manage budgets.

· Collect and review data to reduce inefficiencies and waste.

· Analyse data and create reports to present to executives regarding processes.

· Evaluate employees and give suggestions for improvement.

· Oversee work schedules to ensure coverage.

· Perform routine safety checks on equipment

Job Requirements

· Minimum Diploma in Food/Beverage Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.

· Minimum 5 years' work experience in Food manufacturing environment.

· Established Leader; Has ability to motivate a team of operators, Technicians and Supervisors.

· Strong knowledge of implementing and maintaining high GMP/HACCP standards.

· Experience in implementing workplace Safety & Environmental regulations

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Supervision: Lead and motivate a team of technicians, ensuring proper installation, termination, and testing of electrical and data cables, including CAT6, fiber optics, and coaxial cables.

Project Coordination & Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to plan project timelines, allocate resources, and ensure smooth project execution.

On-Site Inspections & Safety Compliance: Conduct regular site inspections to assess feasibility, requirements, and ensure all safety protocols and regulatory compliance are met.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide guidance and support to technicians in troubleshooting issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of installed systems.

Project Scheduling & Monitoring: Maintain and monitor project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and effective resource utilization.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, including progress reports, material lists, and change orders, for internal and client use.

Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective delivery of services.

Safety & Quality Assurance: Enforce strict adherence to safety guidelines, company policies, and industry regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Team Development & Training: Foster a collaborative work environment, promote professional growth, and provide ongoing training to ensure the team's skill set is up to date.

Qualifications:

Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical and data cable installation, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team of technicians.

Thorough knowledge of electrical and data cabling standards and construction industry regulations, including safety protocols.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with clients, project managers, and team members effectively.

Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and prioritizing tasks.

Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to handle unforeseen challenges efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:

• To fulfil ship repair jobs afloat or shipyard
• Carrying out maintenance, service and repair of all mechanical equipment (Diesel Engines, pumps, gearboxes, couplings, alternators, hydraulic system, deck machinery etc) on board all vessels as assigned.
• Troubleshooting all the mechanical equipment on board vessels.
• Jobs involved engine equipment removal, reinstallation, servicing, repair and reconditioning, commissioning activity.
• Ensure adequate maintenance of tools, equipment and cleanliness in the workshop.
• Managing team and delivering ship / shipyard schedule required.
• Carrying out any retrofit job for new equipment installation on board vessels.
• VSCC meeting, permit to work system, and trade certificates are required
• Managing of workforce and job, writing job completion report, submitting cost evaluation, liaise with owners representative, and always have to follow company SOP.
• Any other duties as assigned by ship repair manager and management.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Certificate in Marine Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years relevant working experience.
• Able to read drawings and write service reports.
