Duties and Responsibilities

FINANCIAL RETURNS

• Achieve budgeted revenues & weekly sales targets, control expenses and labor costs, and maximize profitability within the restaurant.
• Assist the General Manager in preparation of the annual operating budget which supports the overall objectives of the restaurant.

· Maintain procedures to (1) ensure the security and proper storage of restaurant inventory, and equipment, (2) ensure the security of monies, credit and financial transactions, (3) replenish supplies, inventory, uniforms, etc. in a timely and efficient manner, and (4) to minimize waste and control costs. Overview

The Accounting Manager reports to the Director and is responsible to oversee all the company’s financial and accounting operations. Duties includes accounts receivable/payable, data entry/compilation, generating of accounting reports and other accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and overseeing daily operations of accounting department, preparing and reviewing appropriate entry reconciliations and maintaining general ledger system, including ensuring accurate financial data inputs in system.
• Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues. Track progress of financial and accounting objectives.
• Establish accounting policies and procedures to align with company’s targets and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
• Generating of taxation / accounting reports.
