JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Full sets of Accounting (including income tax/GST)
• Analyze the monthly variances/perform monthly reconciliation of P&L (including marked-to-market/MTM accounting)
• Month end closing
• Liaise with auditors and IRAS etc.
• Work with other stakeholders (Finance, Treasury, Operations and Traders etc.)
• Any other adhoc duties

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Accountancy/Accounting/Commerce or ACCA or any other relevant education

The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing financial tasks to ensure smooth operations and accurate financial record-keeping. Process bank payments and deposits.

Assist in ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including tax filings and reporting requirements.

Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information.

Collaborate with the management team to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.

Keep the internal accounting softwares updated.

Prepare Payslips, Pay Salaries, Reimbursements and Contributions.

Employee Work Pass renewal and applications.

Liaising with MOM to apply and renew employee Work Pass including Employment Pass, S Pass and Work Permit.

HR administration such as contracts, annual leave, public holidays, medial leave and Work Passes.

Any other duties as per required from time to time.

Skills and Qualifications

Proven work experience as an Admin/Accounts

Meticulous at work and able to plan work and duties in an organized and detailed manner

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Resourceful in getting things done

In-depth knowledge and experience in using accounting softwares such as Xero, Talenox and Dext.

Proficiency in MS Word and Excel

Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
