• Experience in specifying and designing power flow and energy management system (EMS) for microgrid.
• Hand-on experience on specifying, installing and commissioning PCS for BESS.
• Able to check and correct the complete power and control circuit wiring for PCS before powering up.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as Modbus-RTU, CAN bus, ProfiNet, Ethernet TCP/IP, etc.
• Able to design and code program in C, C++ or Python to carry out repeated testing and communication functions.
• Knowledge working with PLC programming language conforming to IEC61131 e.g. CoDeSys.
• Working knowledge on distributed or centralized microgrid controllers.
• Knowledge in programming HMI and IPC for EMS or SCADA.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team designers.
• Lead project communication, liaising with design, clients, construction, supplier, and contractors’ teams.
• Oversee design and creativity on projects from concept design and space planning to development and presentation.
• Produce concept work using hand sketches and a variety of digital and traditional media.
• Produce and check drawing packages for schematic and detail design stages.
• Attend client meetings independently or with project leader support, contributing to client presentations.
• Source reference material and conduct research to ensure materials and products are fit for purpose.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of engineers in mechanical services for projects from the concept stage through design development, contract documentation, authority submissions, site administration, and project completion.
• Support and provide expert mechanical engineering design solutions.
• Handle design work and/or project management relevant to ACMV, Fire Protection, Hydraulic Services, Sanitary Systems, and Plumbing.
• Act as either Project Manager or Team Leader on projects.
• Mentor new employees, providing guidance and support as they integrate into the team.

Qualifications:

• Recognised Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in design engineering of ACMV/HVAC, Fire Protection, and Plumbing services with Engineering Consultancies in Singapore.
• Proven track record of working across organizational boundaries to define requirements, solve complex problems, and drive programs to successful completion.
• Good understanding of Singapore Code of Practice and local authority submission processes (LTA, PUB, BCA).
• Proficiency in BIM and CAD software (REVIT, Microstation, AutoCAD) is an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead projects to successful completion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
