Job Description

• Carry out troubleshooting and corrective action of instrument breakdown or failures to find out the root cause and best solution in order to restore the functionality get back to normal

Job Requirements

Job Description - Quality Control

· Conduct onsite in-process inspections or periodic site/factory quality surveillance inspections.

· Monitor and verify site execution works whether the established work procedures, inspections and approved submittals are being followed accordingly.

· Identity, record and highlight to Project Manager of any identified non-conformances or potential quality issues or risks.

· Issue and monitor closure of Quality Observation Reports (QARs), Internal Non-conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective/Preventive Action Requests (C/PARs)

· Verify the implementation of solutions and control further works or processes until the non-conformities or deficiencies have been resolved.

· Conduct internal inspection of mock-up unit, CONQUAS/QM pre-assessment and pre-handing over inspection.

· Preparation of periodic QA/QC Reports, maintenance of quality records and any necessary QA/QC documentations at project sites.

Job Description

· In-charge in the TBM assembly, TBM testing and commissioning, SAT, the various preparation works for TBM driving and TBM dismantling.

· In-charge of the preparation of all submission documents such as Method Statement.

· Supervise tunnelling works on site & responsible for site coordination with client, consultants and subcontractors

· Management, plan and monitor for the day by day tunnelling operation such as mining, backfilling and segment ring installation etc.

· Supervise the compressed air works, all tunnelling works in safety

· Assist Tunnel Manager on all tunnelling work.

· Liaise with LTA throughout all phases of the project to ensure works progressing in line with spec & program

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent

• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience after tertiary education in relevant field, with at least 3 years of experience in construction supervision of tunnelling works of similar scale, complexity and nature of work.

• Experienced in Handling Chinese/Japanese/European TBM

• Experienced in handling of EPB TBM and auxiliary plants/equipments for EPB TBM driving

• Able to read design/shop drawings for tunnelling works.

• Preferred to have extensive experience in operation & maintenance of various TBM guidance system and data acquisition system( Robotec, ENZAN, VMT, etc.)

• Preferred to have overseas experiences in multiple countries

• Capable of communicating and co-working with team members in Singapore as well as head office in South Korea.

• Good human relation skills and ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization and with external customers and suppliers.
