RESPONSIBILITIES

Manufacturing/ Production Line setup, pre-qualification and maintenance.
Provide technical support to customer related to assembly/ manufacturing.
Develop process and generate work instruction.
Review drawing, customer specifications and Bill of Materials cleanup.
Assembly, test, and commissioning of highly automated industrial equipments.
Train, certify and monitor assembly technicians.
Develop necessary technical competencies and equipment capabilities to meet operational performance targets
Work and collaborate with Production to achieve the desired quality and output
Conduct MRB to review non-conformance parts disposition.
Design/Fabricate tools, jigs and fixtures.
In-process yield/reject/scrap rate monitoring.
Lead and drive the team to participate in all continuous improvement projects related to cost, quality, utilisation & productivity using Six-sigma or similar applicable technology such as Cpk, FMEA, Lean etc
Any other duties assigned by his/her superior / Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum three years of relevant experience in Equipment Manufacturing Industry preferably wire bonding Equipment (Ball Bonding/Wedge Bonding/Die Bonding)
Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Proficiency in equipment troubleshooting techniques
Strong problem solving and analytical skills with good knowledge of SPC
Good leadership / presentation / communication / team building skills
Ability to work proactively and to identify issues and propose solutions
Able to design and implement effective systems, processes and informatio/ reporting mechanisms
Experience in Lean Manufacturing and ISO system

Key Responsibilities and tasks:

1. Reports to Project Manager on tasks/project status.

2. Handle projects for design and engineering of fire protection systems (Foam, Deluge, Novec, FM200, Water Mist, CO2 etc.)

3. Handle the co-ordination of project activities to ensure that projects are executed in a smooth and effective manner.

4. Responsible for requesting and initiating approved project purchases.

5. Attending external project kick-off meetings, meetings with clients or consultants as well as technical and co-ordination meetings, project meetings and internal project closure meetings.

6. Responsible for proper project documentation including email communication.

7. Assist designer in drawings, calculations & documentations for project submission.

8. Supervision of work, liaise with client, sub-contractors and service engineer regarding overall fire protection system.

9. Coordinate and supervise with Service Engineer for the factory acceptance test (FAT) with customers.

10. Any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Requirements:

1. Monday to Friday (8:00am-5:00pm), Saturday (8:00am-12:00pm).

2. At least 5 years relevant work experience in the Marine/Oil & Gas industry.

3. Applicants with similar experience in fire protection industry will have an added advantage.

E&I assistant/Engineer (CMMS/PLC)

Responsibilities

• Plan and support in daily maintenance works and that they are carried out as scheduled and in compliance with engineering and safety standards.
• Work together with inhouse contractors for daily activities.
• Initiate PDCA (Plan Do Check Act) on improving equipment reliability and process system robustness.
• Coordinate with other department counterpart and other maintenance team members in the execution of plant equipment repairs, improvement and modifications projects as assigned from time to time.
• Involved in troubleshooting of equipment troubles and develop countermeasures
• Support in upkeeping of ISO standards and participate in annual audits (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and SS651).
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of records/reports in CMMS (R-MIC).
• Support in Energy and Water Efficiency team. Attend meetings, data collection, analysis and support energy and water reduction activities.
• Carry out duties and responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Engineering Certification.
• Min 3 years of E&I experience in Chemical/Petrochemical industry.
• Hands on maintenance experience in troubleshooting and rectification.
• Good interpersonal communication skill and positive team player.
• Self-driven, independent and resourceful.
• Poses good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to perform call-out activities and extended work hours when needed.
