JOB SUMMARY

The Social Work Assistant's primary role will be to assist the rehabilitation counsellors in the areas of Medifund Financial Assistance, Case Management support, and/or Chaperone services to medical facilities. 4. Crisis Intervention: In times of crisis or emergency situations, assist the rehab counsellors to provide immediate support to their clients and/or families. The SWA may assist with assessing the situation, offerring emotional support, and connecting clients with emergency services as needed.
5. Group facilitation: Assist in facilitating support groups or community programs within the centre. This includes helping to plan and organize group activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment, and providing guidance and support to participants.
