The Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association of Singapore (HFCAS) was formed in 2019 to provide a united voice of the industry and to support the use of hydrogen in Singapore as one the possible pathways to meet Singapore’s Long-Term Low Emissions Development Strategy. Some of HFCAS initiatives include the development of codes and standards for safe use of hydrogen; development of training courses for hydrogen related applications; raising public awareness on hydrogen through outreach program.

Key Responsibilities:

[1] Strategic Leadership

• Collaborate with the Chairman, CEO, Deputy CEO, and other Senior Leaders/ Team Leaders to develop and execute the overall business strategy.
• Drive the development and implementation of recruitment, outsourcing, and work-pass business strategies aligned with the company's goals. Ensure that the company can achieve both financial and corporate goals.

[2] Talent Acquisition:

• Oversee the managed end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring the timely and effective hiring of top talent.
• Implement innovative and efficient recruitment strategies to attract and retain high-calibre professionals.
• Foster relationships with educational institutions, industry groups, and other talent sources to ensure a robust talent pipeline.

[3] Operation Management:

• Lead the outsourcing unit, identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Establish and maintain relationships with outsourcing partners, negotiating contracts, and ensuring service-level agreements are met.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of outsourcing partners to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure that the operational side of outsourcing is functional and independent.
• Oversea and mentor the operation teams, ensuring that they have the resources and support needed to excel in their role.

[4] Work-Pass Compliance:

• Stay ahead of changes in Singapore employment laws and regulations related to work passes.
• Ensure the company's compliance with all relevant statutory requirements regarding work passes and immigration.
• Work closely with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks associated with work-pass processes.

[5] Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other departments such as HR, Finance and Support to ensure seamless integration of recruitment and outsourcing strategies.
• Provide leadership and guidance on workforce planning, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

[6] Risk Management:

• Identify potential operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Implement robust contingency plans to ensure business continuity in the face of unforeseen challenges.

[7] Client Relationship Management:

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met.
• Collaborate with the Business Development team to identify new business opportunities and expand the client base.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in recruitment, outsourcing, or a related field.
2. In-depth knowledge of Singapore employment laws and regulations. Must be well aware of MOM Regulations.
3. Strong operational and management skills
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Demonstrated strong ability to lead and aspire teams to achieve operational excellence
6. Minium 8 ~ 10 years of relevant work experience in these industries.
7. Hands on person who is positive, pro-active and accountable.

Education:

1. Bachelor’s / master’s degree in human resources, business administration or management.

• Design, improve and oversee the entire technological infrastructure of the crypto exchange.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of blockchain experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with any 2 of the following languages with the ability and willingness to learn new languages: Java, Golang, RUST.
• At least 1-year experience of working crypto exchanges OR 1 year of experience running traditional trading systems or forex/equity exchanges
• Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to share/collaborate with peers
• Ability to hire and manage large technical teams, both front end, and back end, managing applications in all platforms including Web, Android, iOS, Mac, Windows,etc.
• Ability to write, audit and deploy code, and set up proper processes for other people to do this with utmost cybersecurity
• Cybersecurity: Have a strong understanding of crypto-related cybersecurity.
• Creativity: think outside the box and deliver innovative and original solutions

Job Description: As CFO, your primary goal beyond the regular financial operations (cashflow management, financial reporting, FP&A etc) is to also support the CEO to develop fundraising materials, valuations, and strategies for Flex’s next stage of growth.

There is also a secondary responsibility as Co-COO. We do not have a COO, the responsibility is currently spilt between the CEO and CTO, the incoming CFO will be the third Co-COOs that will jointly oversees operations alongside the two other existing Chiefs.
