Responsibilities:

• Assist and report to Director of Finance in all areas relating to finance operation, project, financial reporting, management analysis, consolidation and all treasury related matters.
• Work with team members and stake holders to compile data /information for variance / trend analysis, conduct market research, and consolidate analysis to support decision making.
• Prepare/review materials, input, analysis, reports and presentations for senior management meetings, board meetings, parents’ townhall and other purposes.
• Assist in designing, communicating and implementing new finance / procurement templates and forms to promote the digitalization of internal process wherever required.
• Ensure smooth AP functions by overseeing the AP team to collate, verify and process payments and staff reimbursement within the internal timeframes.
• Streamline AR functions by participating in AR projects, such as formulating new AR related policies, GST migration project and other AR related process.
• Supervise/ carry out the month end and year end closing process, review / prepare journal entries, bank reconciliation and monthly schedules.
• Be the key liaison person for all the school fund raising events, monitor internal approval process, the incoming and the disbursement of donations and keep comprehensive records.
• Prepare and update cash flow forecast, monitor cash positions and manage all bank and investment related matters, such as changes in authorised bank signatories, FD placement/renewal, purchase / disposal of ST investments, repayments/drawdown/ rollover of bank loans, etc.
• Ensure compliance of budget control by preparing/reviewing/monitoring budget vs actual reports, communicating and highlighting issues to all budget holders.
• Ensure compliance with all internal policies and SOPs in the allocated job functions.
• To be actively involved in the change process of School, including but not limited to the reviewing, streamlining, standardizing, and implementing internal controls and processes by achieving a risk vis-à-vis efficiency balanced approach.
• To be part of the project leadership in the assigned IT related projects for Finance/Procurement team to assist system improvement, data migration exercise and implement new process and controls in the new IT system.
• Update knowledge and expertise of changing statutory requirements, accounting standards, tax laws and charity regulations to determine the implications of such changes to financial / management reporting and internal process.
• Communicate effectively with both internal and external parties, keep complete record of meeting discussions and follow up the outstanding matters closely.

Requirements:

• Min Degree/CPA or equivalent with 5-6 years experience
• Audit background preferred

JOB SCOPE

• Planning and organizing daily warehouse activities such as receiving, put away, order picking, proper data recording and document retention.
• Ensure efficient utilisation of warehouse space, pallet racking and resources such as forklifts/reach trucks.
• Conduct & reconcile weekly cycle counts, ensure accuracy of WMS system transactions of finished goods, raw materials & packaging items.
• Manage inventory disposals of damaged, excess and obsolescence products according to local chemical regulations.
• Overseeing staff performance, provide training and support, identify development needs, and manage relationships between shopfloor team and management to drive any changes for improvement.
• Coordinating with 3PL service providers, internal stakeholders such as production, quality, planning & customer service to ensure a smooth order management experience.
• Prepare and submit monthly KPI reports related to warehouse such as inventory & picking accuracy, space utilization, on-time receiving & resources utilization.
• Ensure compliance to all warehouse procedures, 5S, safety and audit requirements.

Requirements:

• Diploma in warehouse/logistics management or equivalent.
• Min 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in warehouse/logistics operations.
• Possess a valid forklift & reach truck license.
• Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems.
• Experienced in inventory system like WMS or SAP would be advantageous.

Key Role and Responsibilities

• Review billing requests, ensure timely issue of invoices and follow up on collection
• Submit monthly sales performance reports to Brands and as a key contact person to the Brands
• Generate monthly billings, perform sales reconciliation and resolve any discrepancies
• Daily reconciliation of cash collected from retail sales
• Ensure all payments are properly supported before processing the payments
• Maintain fixed asset register and perform period fixed asset count
• Verify monthly staff claims and manage sales incentive
• Assist in monthly closing of accounts and quarterly GST submission
• Constantly look into areas that will help to improve and enhance operational efficiency;
• Coordinate with auditors on retails audit and assist in yearly external audit
• Participate in projects and ad hoc initiatives

Prerequisites:

• Diploma/degree in accounting or business study with 3-4 years relevant experience. Fresh graduate is welcome

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Resourceful and creative in problem solving with the can-do attitude
• Highly motivated and driven to produce results and ability to meet tight deadlines
