• Manage receiving, checking the incoming & outgoing goods
• Handle negotiation of prices & follow up with suppliers
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure delivered on time
• Co-ordinate and liaise with inter-departments
• Adhoc duties as assign by HOD

Requirements:

• Some manual lifting of goods required
• 1 year of relevant experience
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the speech-language therapist with screening or assessments for students with speech, language, communication and feeding needs, without clinical interpretation
• Collaborate with the parents, teachers and the other allied health professionals to provide multi-disciplinary support to the students
• Provide therapy following an intervention plan developed by the speech-language therapist
• Select and prepare functional activities and recommendations to match students’ skills and interests
• Assist with administrative duties
• Prepare therapy materials
• Maintain inventory of resources
• Maintain records and documentation of assessment and intervention
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Holder Requirements & Attributes

• Possess a relevant skills certificate from a recognised institution (e.g. WSQ Healthcare (Therapy Support) or CAE Professional Certificate in Speech Therapy Assistance)
• Prior experience working with people with special needs will be an added advantage
• Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and effectively under pressure
• Able to relate well to people and work effectively and harmoniously within a multidisciplinary team setting
• Candidates with GCE ‘O’ level certificate (including a pass in English) and/or relevant experience can also be considered for this role.
