The HRPC is a first-of-its-kind research centre, established at the NUS, to spearhead and conduct research and development to better enable the future challenges arising from rising ambient heat. The Research Assistant who will play a key role in assisting in the development, execution and analysis of research aimed at addressing the challenges of training and operating in rising ambient temperatures. Main Duties and Responsibilities

The main areas of responsibilities of the role will include but limited to the following:

• Working with research PIs and teams to develop new research ideas

The individual will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Develop new models and methodologies to account for the environmental impacts of health systems. • Perform billing including HSG, CHAS and Medisave payment transaction
• Daily e-submission of Insurance Managed Care claims
• Top up medications, and inventory and assist in stock-taking as required
• Housekeeping and responsible for the cleanliness of the entire clinic facilities

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE “O’ level, NITEC, Higher Nitec in any discipline. Diploma holders are welcome.
• Sales or customer service experience is an added advantage.
• Preferably stay in the northeast area.
• Must be able to commit to full-time hours up to 44hr per workweek
• Must be able to commit to 3 night and 1 weekend shifts.
• Good learning and service attitude is compulsory. Passionate in customer service.
• Basic IT proficiency required (Clinic Assist, Managed Care portals)
• Good command of spoken English.
• The ability to speak more languages/dialects will be an added advantage

Main responsibilities:

• Baking according to SOPs - mainly just scooping ready-made batter into moulds
• Washing moulds and baking tools
• Packing of baked goods into boxes
• Supporting cleanup duties to ensure the bakery remains tidy, organised, and ready for the next day's production
• Making coffee and other drinks according to SOPs
• Able to take orders from customers to key into POS
• Any other relevant task as required by management

License/Certification:

• WSQ Food Safety Level 1 (Required)

Responsibilities

• To adhere to the individual centre’s schedule and practices
• Conduct non-programme activities like storytelling, crafts, etc.
• Assist Lead Teachers to prepare for lessons by getting materials ready or setting up equipment eg. water play, etc.
• Assist in supervising the children in class, between classes and toileting
• Assist in the lessons by working with individual students or small groups of students. For example, after the Lead Teacher presents a lesson, Assistant Teacher may help a small group of students as they try to master the material
• Supervise the children at play and assist with the daily basic routine care such as changing of diapers, showering the children, feeding the children, etc.
• Adhere to Teaching Standards, Safety, Hygiene, Rules and Regulations set by the centre and ECDA
• Provide all other support and assistance where necessary to ensure smooth operations

Job Requirements

• Certifications in Early Childhood Care & Education (FCECCE)
• Possess Fundamentals or Certificate in Preschool teaching
• First Aid Certification will be an advantage
• Experience in toddler care will be an advantage
• Passionate in nurturing infants and toddlers
