RESPONSIBILITIES

National Gallery Singapore is recruiting a Conservator or Assistant Conservator (Organic Objects) who would be mainly based at the Heritage Conservation Centre (HCC), which is the repository and conservation facility for the National Collection under the National Heritage Board (NHB). The collections comprise of 19th-21st century socio-historical, cultural, ethnographic, modern and contemporary artwork materials, mainly from the Southeast Asia region.

The selected candidate will be working in the Organic Objects section at the HCC. The candidate is expected to serve both the National Gallery, under the Visual arts cluster and the museums and institutions under the National Heritage Board, such as the National Museum of Singapore, Asian Civilisations Museum, The Peranakan Museum, and the Heritage Institutions.

The candidate will report to the Head of Organic Objects section in HCC. Assistant Manager/Manager, Communications

• Working Day: Mon to Fri
• Working Hours: 8am – 5pm or 9am – 6pm
• Location: Commonwealth
• Salary: $4500 - $6000 + AWS + Variable Bonus

Responsibilities

• Manage the internal and external communications activities of the Church.
• Serve as communications counsel to the various ministries as they seek to effectively reach and communicate with various communities.
• Oversee & grow the Church's communication platforms including church website, social media, broadcast channels, etc.
• Manage all communications content that support Sunday services.
• Oversee the production and distribution of corporate gifts for church events.
• Oversee livestream pertaining to Sunday services and events held in Church.
• Plan and manage communications budget, together with Ministry Treasurer.
• Coordinate Ministry meetings and prepare Ministry reports, supporting Ministry Chair.
• Nurture and lead volunteers in the Ministry.
• Participate in church corporate events and relevant meetings.
• Carry out any other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Marketing, Mass Communications or equivalent
• At least four years of relevant experience in a communications role
• Proficient in digital communication platforms and social media
• Knowledge of design software like Photoshop, WordPress, etc.
• Website (WordPress or update), Application (Bulletin), Media (online service like broadcast YouTube)
• Able to help on one or two Sunday services (end at 1:30pm), will be given one day off in lieu.

Job Descriptions

· Handle administrative duties, preparing sales invoice, delivery order and purchase orders.

· Track all invoices and payment details

· Ordering of stocks and issue purchase order

· Provide survey to customer before arranging the house visit

· Keep and maintain records (Data Entry)

· Scanning, typing and filing of documents

Requirements

· Minimum GCE ‘O’/ 'N' Levels

· At least 1 year of relevant experience

· Proficient in MS Office applications

· Service oriented and ability to work independently

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Create and analyze profit and loss statements.
• Perform trend analysis and service forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies.
• Verify and arrange agent disbursements promptly.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve partner disputes.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accountancy with at least 2 years of relevant accounting working experience.
• Proficient in SAP.

• Plan and raise production order according to manufacturing process, Sales/forecast order quantity, Delivery date and customer agreement.
• Monitor Inventory control based on forecast, Sales demand and customer agreement
• Overseeing planning to ensure smooth day to day operations and customer delivery are met.
• Prepare & Review Monthly Machine Utilization and capacity planning report based on customer given forecast. Highlight if any capacity shortage.
• Monitor any Ageing stock and provide justification.
• Optimise manufacturing efficiency and costs. Review weekend overtime plan and reduce wastage.
• Prepare monthly KPI report and CIP
• Identify delays and adjust schedules accordingly to meet deadlines.
• Assist in any ad hoc situation, mitigate plan before any line down.
• Resolve production issues and escalate unresolved issues to management promptly.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or its equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of working experience as Planning role with Manufacturing experience
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Preferably with Secondary processes & Metal Injection knowledge will be an added advantage
