Purpose of Role

You will be responsible for the design and management of an allocated project on a day-to-day basis, maintaining at all times the highest standards of design and client management. You will have a full understanding of the project process and work with minimal guidance from the project leader, delegating work to more junior members of the team as appropriate.

Your key responsibilities

• Responsible for design and creativity on projects from concept design through to development and presentation, ensuring high quality outputs and creativity, with minimal guidance.

Your technical skills and experience

• Degree or Diploma in Interior Design or design related discipline.
• Approximately 8-10 years’ proven experience of working from concept to completion stage, with ability to manage own workload and the workload of more junior team members.
• Ability to produce concept work using hand sketches to a high standard.
• Experience of retail projects and large scale commercial projects is highly advantageous.
• Advanced software skills, including both 2D and 3D software capabilities: Adobe Creative Suite, Autocad, SketchUp and/or an alternative 3D package such as Rhino. BIM proficiency in Revit.
• Proven knowledge of materials and their application.
• Ability to combine creativity and practicality with business awareness.

Position Overview

The Senior/Graphic Designer is responsible for creative conceptualisation of marketing collaterals requested by all departments such as Sales & Catering, Front Office, Food & Beverage, Spa and Residences; assist with in-house photography and videography creation; updating and maintenance of photo library and videos as well as ad-hoc projects as directed by the Director of Marketing Communications.
