You will be involved in facilitating the development and implementation of Health District Queenstown Lighthouse Projects involving National University Health System (NUHS) and various community partners in Queenstown to support social-health integration and enhance care delivery in the community.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following:

1. Co-create and organise activities and interest groups at the physical space

· Engage residents and volunteers to co-create, plan, and conduct activities and interest groups e.g. hawker centre tours to share on healthier eating habits.

· Encourage and support residents to self-run activities and interest groups

· Partner with local community leader(s) and stakeholders to organise programmes and services

· Organise regular resident engagement sessions to gather feedback on activities and services provided by the Blended Care Team

Requirements

· Bachelor Degree in the field of Social Sciences (e.g. social work, counselling, psychology), with prior experience in related areas such as social care services, aged care services and/or community engagement.

· At least 2 – 3 years of working experience.

· Ability to work independently, adaptable, analytical and a good team player.

· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and able to engage with partners and older adults in the community.

As a Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, you are responsible to support the day-to-day operations of the Care and Call Centre (CareHub) to meet CareHub’s service standards, key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver a positive customer experience for residents and community partners who reach in to CareHub for support to age well in the community.

You will work closely with stakeholders and the CareHub team including Call Centre Officers (CCOs) who are helming CareHub, to draft, develop and implement requirements (including IT systems) and collaborative workflows and SOPs to bring plans into reality dovetailed to implementation timeline, organisation’s strategies, priorities and national’s directives. You will ensure that CCOs are properly trained and supported by a relevant knowledge management system to support handling of enquiries in the most professional and timely manner.

You will have the opportunity to support the developmental plans and partnerships of CareHub by driving and facilitating conversations with stakeholders and community partners to further develop CareHub and review CareHub’s functions and initiatives which improve outcomes in tandem with the wider community ecosystem.

This is an operational position within the Asia Centre for Health Security (ACHS). The incumbent will be part of the team to support the core functions of the centre. Their duties would include administration, education and training, collaboration and partnership, and secretariat functions.

Duties & Responsibilities
Working under the direction of the Director and Head of Operations at the ACHS, the Assistant Manager will be part of the team to support the core duties of the centre:
a) Centre Administration
- Point of contact between researchers and various administration departments to support the management of research projects
- Support researchers to draft, review, negotiate and execute research agreements by working closely with researchers, collaborators and internal and external legal offices
- Liaise and support the centre's leads and research staff to meet the centre's objectives of the centre
- Support finance administration, payment and procurement and secretariat duties; tracking and reporting; and communications

b) Education and Training inclusive of the Tabletop Simulation Exercises for Health Security Preparedness and Response; and the convening of meetings and roundtables
- Support Centre Leads in organising training activties, including the tabletop simulation exercise and convening of meetings and roundtables. The responsibilities include event management, registration, on the ground support, liaising with international participants and logistics arrangements including organising venue, travel and room bookings
- Administrative support for the establishment of the ACHS fellowship program in health security
- On the ground support for public seminars, workshops, courses and training held in person and online

c) Collaboration & Partnership
- Liaise and work closely with local, regional and international partners and collaborators, this includes providing support for policy roundtables and panel discussions and the building a network of experienced experts in health security

d) Provide secretariat support for the centre (Faculty Meetings, International Advisory Panel), this includes arranging of meetings, preparation of slides, notes of meeting, communication and dissemination of information, and collation of reports

e) Work closely with other offices in the school, e.g. finance, HR, IT and GHO and university, e.g. OLA, ODPRT, CPO to take forward all administrative tasks, including discussion, collaboration and problem-solving on complem situations

Qualifications

• Applicants are expected to have at least a Bachelor degree from a recognised institution with at least five years of experience in an administrative position within the academic, research or healthcare sector

Overview

The Job Holder will support in building improvement capabilities and culture in the NUHS Regional Health System Office (RHSO), including community partners such as GPs.
