• Ensure all test results provided for clinicians are accurate and reliable

• Notify medical technologist/lab in charge when instrument malfunction and make arrangements with BME or instrument vendor to service the instrument
• Notify inventory person in charge when reagents and stocks supplies run low.
• Perform and record internal and external quality controls and calibrations. Troubleshoot outliers in accordance to work instructions.
• Ensure ‘critical value’ are reported to the relevant personnel within 30 minutes
• Ensure daily maintenance and QC records are up to date.
• Ensure compliance to hand hygiene, workplace safety, International Patient Safety Goals (IPSG) and International Standardization of Organizations (ISO) and other applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements of the laboratory.

The Postdoctoral Fellow will play a critical role in the development of the Centre’s research to support health policy and services research in Singapore and the region, gaining the opportunity to work with leading experts and policy makers in the field. As well as conducting and disseminating research on health economics and equity through journal publications, the successful candidate will be expected to submit research grant proposals, perform research administration, mentor junior research staff, and be involved in capacity building through conducting workshops for local and regional participants and supporting relevant training activities (e.g. short courses, co-supervision of masters dissertation students). Job Description

The Singapore Population Health Studies (SPHS) is a population-based health research initiative at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore. SPHS aims to investigate the interactions between lifestyle, physiological, genetic and other omics biomarkers and their impact on health and longevity. In addition, SPHS will serve as a platform to monitor risk factors in the population and gain insight into determinants of health-related behaviours. For this purpose, SPHS includes over 50,000 adult Singaporeans and long-term residents from three major ethnic groups (Chinese, Malay, and Indian), for a better understanding of disease aetiology in urban Asian settings, and the development of improved preventive and therapeutic measures for Singapore and other Asian populations.

JOB PURPOSE
This role primarily involves the recruitment and data collection activities of the research projects under the SPHS unit that will contribute towards the building of a population health research biobank for Singapore.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Take consent from research participants before performing any research procedures
2. Perform basic assessments that include measurements of blood pressure and visual acuity, fundus photography etc. and enter data into the correct electronic form via a tablet. Keep to a turnaround time of 8-10min per participant.
3. Perform spirometry and keep to a turnaround time of 10-15min per participant.

- Main duty to supervise & manage daily operation. Ensure the booking / SPA Hygiene up to SPA standard / hands on different type of beauty teachnique & use different type of Beauty machine & equipment

-Perform customer services function and engage clients professionally

- able to perform hair removal-waxing, face threading, Brazilian waxing is bonus & brow-enhancing treatments

-Facial - provide facial skin type analysis / treatment(s) to clients according to skin type

-Able to provide consultation to clients on various treatment & sell of products according to thier needs

- Hair treatment - Able to performan hair cut, colouring & Keratin treatment

- Henna & bridal makeup ( optional but bonus )

Requirements:

- Able to handling clients from Middle East

-Able to communicate via Hindi & English

-Must have proven working experience as a Beautician or work in Indian Salon industry

-Minimum 2 years working experience in Beauty industry

- Work independently with good sales & cutomers engagement

- Strong sales skill is added advantage

-Good working attitude & team spirits

• Supervising a team of retail assistants to ensure smooth operation
• Responsible for the sales of your category of products
• Handle inventory management, housekeeping and merchandising
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service and selling skills, keeping the selling floor stocked with merchandise, assisting in display of merchandise or organizing the selling floor and stock areas.
• Process payments by totaling purchases; processing cash or other credit cards
• Must also be able to deal with customer refunds courteously and professionally

• 6 days roster based (retail hour 10am to 10pm)

1. Develop and implement strategy to increase the screening and vaccination rate in the population in the West

2. Develop and implement prototypes to test the strategies

3. Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to implement plans to increase screening and vaccination rate

4. Analysis of data for screening and vaccination

• Track and analyse screening and vaccination rate in population
• Analyse data and determine the areas for outreach to increase screening rates

5. Work with internal stakeholders on the extraction of data and reports from IT systems

6. Lead and manage a team in outreach and screening events

• Ensure department is appropriately resourced to carry out its mission - people, funding, skill & technology
• Develop team members to enhance their skills & harness their potential
• Integrate team with the other RHSO departments & divisions

• Bachelor degree in any discipline
