The incumbent will be responsible for managing a portfolio of assets, which includes the preparation of portfolio and credit reviews, analysing waiver requests and provide recommendations, monitoring of covenants, maintaining credit files to an auditable standard, tracking and monitoring climate and sustainability related performance metrics as well as reporting the portfolio’s performance to relevant parties, including 3rd party investors. The incumbent will work closely with the Client Coverage and Risk teams within the Group and may engage with 3rd party investors as part of his/her day-to-day responsibilities.

The incumbent will be proactive in helping to identify and report potential adverse issues (e.g. credit, ESG, reputational), adhering to the risk culture of “no surprises” within the firm. The individual will be working under the oversight and guidance of senior individuals in the team.

Knowledge/ Experience Required:

• Good university degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related subject
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience preferred, ideally in credit analysis or portfolio management (experiences in the infrastructure or maritime sectors would be an advantage)
• Adept at Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Attention to detail and organised, goal-oriented
• A good team player with the ability to demonstrate initiative and work well with minimal supervision and within tight timeframes
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Basic knowledge about finance, credit risk and system processing
• Ability to form a preliminary credit view on projects and to be able to articulate the rationale for their view
• Mindset of questioning and cross-checking information and solution oriented

What you'll do:

As an Operations Associate, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the integrity of client operational data and brokerage agreements. You'll take on stewardship responsibilities, ensuring seamless front-to-back operations. Your expertise will be crucial in leading regional infrastructural projects, representing Operations in working groups. You'll also collaborate with IT on delivery of Operations sponsored enhancements and IT technical developments. This role offers you the chance to make significant contributions to process workflow efficiency, automation, and strategic project initiatives.

• Execute Client and Operational Data and front to back brokerage agreement for all clients' stewardship responsibilities on a daily basis.
• Maintain high quality, clean data by adhering to a strict governance and controls framework.
• Provide business brokerage analysis reports for brokerage rate negotiation with customers.
• Liaise closely with the front office and back office to provide accurate rates and product list for all the brokerage agreements.
• Work closely with front and back stakeholders on all matters related to brokerage and client data.
• Support the Team Manager by driving system integration projects as well as cross-training team members on multi-branded processes/services.
• Support cross functional Operations divisions for change implementations on process workflow efficiency and automation or strategic project initiatives.
• Design and implement process excellence within Operations using automation tools to mitigate operational risk and time savings.
