Job Description:

• Assist in planning, managing, and executing daily operations related to food distribution programs and the Community Mart.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders, including suppliers, donors, volunteers, and community partners, to ensure seamless delivery of services.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with organisational policies, safety standards in all operations.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and propose solutions to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
• Assist in planning and implementing special events or campaigns
• for food distribution and community engagement.
• Support volunteer engagement efforts by ensuring volunteers are well-coordinated, trained, and aligned with organisational goals.
• Handle ad hoc duties assigned that relate to our core activities, including but not limited to logistical support for food drives, administrative tasks, or support for outreach programs
• Act as a point of contact for resolving day-to-day operational issues.

Requirements:

1. Organisational skills: Ability to multitask

2. Communication skills: Good verbal and written communication skills

3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office

4. Passion for community work and a commitment to making a positive impact

5. Flexibility to work evenings or weekends during community events or campaigns.
