Main purpose of the job  

The primary role of a Global Category Manager – Marketing Communications is to lead and implement procurement strategies, vision, and governance across the organization. This position heads the Procurement team, fostering unity across regions and promoting the sharing of best practices and knowledge. Alongside adhering to established governance, policies, and processes, the role involves protecting the company's assets and reputation through effective internal control systems, procedures, and legal compliance. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CTRM (Commodity Trading and Risk Management) Project Manager with a background in management consulting and deep expertise in commodity trading and oil / petroleum. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing projects on the implementation and optimization of CTRM systems, leveraging their skills to deliver effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Communicate project expectations and progress to team members and stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
• Allocate project resources effectively and efficiently.
• Monitor resource utilization and adjust plans as necessary to meet project objectives.
• Manage project budgets, including forecasting and tracking expenses & identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues.
• Develop contingency plans to address potential obstacles.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
• Provide regular project updates and status reports to stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification
• Project management experience within the oil / petroleum commodities
• Experience of project management as a consultant
• Proven track record of managing projects from initiation to completion.
• Experience with resource allocation, budget management, and risk assessment.
