The centre is seeking to hire a staff to manage the laboratory operations and activities. The candidate would be responsible for providing efficient technical and administrative support for the labs. He/she will also need to oversee the safety standards in the lab in compliance to ISO 45001 standard. The candidate will provide essential technical, administrative support and engineering expertise to faculty, research staff, and students to ensure the smooth operation and safety of the laboratories in enabling the faculty, research staff and students to accomplish their academic and research activities effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Provide training, expertise, maintenance and support in equipment operations on additive manufacturing and related processes:

• Operate all relevant equipment and accessories (within a team or individually depending on activity)
• Understand and implement existing and emerging technologies in additive manufacturing
• Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting and calibration of equipment, and ensure equipment is in working condition at all times
• Oversee lab activities to enforce proper and safe utilization
• Provide technical advice and support on equipment including responding to technical questions, troubleshooting and correcting experimental errors
• Coach researchers on the operation of equipment and in carrying out experiments in a safe and effective way
• Liaise with all relevant internal and external stakeholders and manage vendors and contractors for the technical needs of the laboratory
• Support all stakeholders in administrative procedures and logistics

Perform routine checks and inspection of assigned laboratories and researcher office to maintain good housekeeping, enforce safety regulations and create safety awareness among all stakeholders:

• Conduct daily housekeeping and regular checking of all contents of the assigned laboratories and researcher office to ensure compliance to safety regulations
• Follow up on all safety inspection findings and ensure the corrective actions are implemented on schedule
• Perform in assigned safety role(s)
• Regular updates of lab records and documentation

Support the daily operations of all safety, administrative, procurement and security matters in SC3DP:

• Ensure that duties are carried out in compliance to safety, OHSAS 18001/SS 506/ISO 45001:2018 and relevant national regulations
• Maintain security of laboratory’s access and compliance of house rules by users of the laboratory
• Enforce safety, security rules and regulation in the laboratory
• Ensure all Risk Assessment and safety documents are up to date
• Procures and manages the budget of equipment consumables to ensure that consumables are tracked and purchased in time to ensure that the laboratory is well-stocked.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in handling various industrial / workshop machines and peripherals.
• Prior experience in additive manufacturing and working in a laboratory environment will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Primary role to support helpdesk with regards to External Connectivity on Citrix products
• Provide L1 and L2 support with a focus on frontend issues
• Resolves issues relating to Active Directory, DNS, WINS, User Rights Assignments, thin clients, thin client management tool, desktop operating systems, Print and File servers, firewalls and networking
• Resolve issues relating to 2 Factor Authentication and smart cards on clients
• Responding and resolving incidents that may arise in the production and non-production SAP environments
• Perform password changes
• Perform OS hardening with the provided hardening guides
• Support daily technical works, issues, and requests within the landscape. Simulate (in non-Production system like DEV/QA) to resolve technical problems reported in Production.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a project environment
• Weekend and occasional OT support are expected

Requirements:

• Diploma in Computer Science, Computing or IT or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in troubleshooting IT issues (frontend citrix, printers, single sign-on, networking, etc)Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, WINS, User Rights Assignments, thin clients, thin client management tool, desktop operating systems, Print and File servers, firewalls and networking
• Working knowledge of 2 Factor Authentication and smart cards

Responsibilities:

· Your primary role is to assist the Project Manager in the planning, design and day to day running of foundation engineering projects such as diaphragm walls, soil improvement works, etc.

· Preparation of design calculations and technical drawings for the projects

· Determine operation requirements and to assist Project Manager in preparing schedule

· Liaise with sub-contractor and consultants for the execution of works

· Ensure timely delivery of projects according to schedule

· Updating of project records for reporting purposes and submission of reports

· Attend site meetings and resolve technical/operational issues independently

· Undertake ad-hoc duties assigned by Project Manager related to project execution

Requirements:

· Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

· Minimum 1-2 years of relevant foundation works experience.

· Able to work in a fast pace environment and have a passion in geotechnical engineering.

· Ability to start work immediately or with short notice preferred.

Job Description

• To support the technical aspects and maintain equipment sufficiency for Physical and Hybrid Annual General Meeting / Polling Events
• Setting up and clearing off venues to support back-to-back meetings and events
• Packing/Unpacking equipment for meeting sessions
• Checking and maintaining of equipment sufficiency
• Ensure audio and video connectivity throughout the meetings and events
• Ensure network and system availability throughtout the meetings and events
• Coordinate on client's requirement for their meeting
• Able to troubleshoot and rectify under pressure of time when problem arise
• Coordination of schedule for ad-hoc event crew, marking of attendance, preparation of timesheet (when required)
• Carry out any other duties that may from time to time be assigned
• Most of the time reporting to office for work (Normal working hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm), may be required to work overtime. Any overtime hours will be compensated by time off in lieu

Requirements

• Good Microsoft Product knowledge: Windows 10 Operating System and Office 365 or Office 2019
• Good knowledge to setup Local Area Network and structured cabling
• Good communication skills is an advantage
• Able to work late hours and on weekends for the last 2 weeks of April 2024 (when required)
• Have past experience in managing or supporting events
• Have past experience in facilitating live questions and answers (Q&A) and/or live polling
