Your Responsibilities: -

• Stay updated on the latest news in the Singapore motorcycle industry, including COE and new laws
• Analyze consumer buying behavior and market demands
• Effectively manage the introduction of new dealer accounts
• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers
• Generate sales from both new and existing dealer accounts
• Communicate new company initiatives and price changes
• Handle inquiries from showroom walk-ins, web, Facebook, and telephone customers
• Provide customer assistance from walk-in to motorcycle handover, demonstrating good knowledge of motorcycles

You will need: -

• Possess a valid Class 2B/2A/2 driving license
• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Others or equivalent.
• Preferably with 1year of hands-on experience in related industry.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with suppliers of final products, packaging material, collaterals etc to acquire items that meet our requirements
• Prepare purchase requisitions and purchase orders to both Singapore and overseas suppliers.
• Track and monitor deliveries/shipments from suppliers
• Follow-up continuously with suppliers to ensure timely delivery & find solutions to any possible delays
• Perform quality analysis and control on delivered products.
• Create & monitor detailed reports on inventory levels of items.
• Work with the brand/sales team to ensure purchases and consequently inventory levels of products correspond with sales activity.
• Work with the finance team to process supplier invoices for payment
• Work with the operations/logistics team to ensure incoming orders are processed into our ERP system and stored in our warehouse in a timely manner.
• Handle cargo claims/discrepancies
• Problem solving with team and manufacturers whenever issues occur with products

Requirements

• The candidate MUST have at least 3 years’ experience in a purchasing role preferably in the (FMCG) fast-moving consumer goods industry.
• The candidate must be highly skilled in use of Excel spreadsheets.
• Experience in use of the Sage 300 ERP system would be an advantage
