Meranti Power Pte Ltd (MP), a fully owned subsidiary of Energy Market Authority, is continuing to recruit additional new staff to supplement and manage, test and commission and operate the new power generating stations on Jurong Island. Warehouse and Store Executive shall report to the Warehouse Manager, Supply Chain:

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

• This position is part of the Supply Chain Group providing procurement and warehouse services to relevant domains. The candidate shall support the Warehouse Manager in ensuring that warehouse operations and activities are performed in adherence to Meranti Power policies, industry standards and compliant with international, national and local workplace legislation.
• The candidate performs deliveries, asset management and transaction documentation process, and secure handling of goods. He / She shall also support the implementation of improvement opportunities within the warehouse operations.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

The incumbent shall undertake the following activities:

• Transform our warehouse operations across our site in Singapore Jurong Island.
• Responsible for store operations, e.g. picking, packing, goods receiving, issuing etc.
• Perform loading/ unloading/ arranging of warehouse cargo and stock items.
• Comply with height, weight and special handling requirements in stacking, moving, and arranging items on pallets according to storage plans,
• Liaise with Users to perform pre-inspection of goods and equipment.
• Perform Goods Received and Goods Issuance transactions in ERP System.
• Generate barcode and ensure clear labelling for all inventory items.
• Responsible for managing the replenishment of stocks as well as the sourcing for critical equipment for our sites
• Assist in annual stocktake and cycle counts.
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
• Perform warehouse operations in accordance with 5S (sort, set, shine, standardise, sustain) techniques
• Report warehousing issues to Warehouse Manager in a timely manner.
• Set up layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
• Assist in developing fit for purpose warehouse and inbound material metrics to measure performance.
• Participate in continuous improvement opportunities
• Maintain the safety performance for warehousing operations.
• Perform safety and health risk assessment and report WSH incidents.
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
• Perform any other tasks or participate in special projects as assigned by reporting manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum diploma and certification in warehousing & logistics or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in warehousing, preferably power related infrastructure such as power plants.
• Basic knowledge of Maximo / Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office Applications
• Mandatory to possess forklift license
• Relevant experience in Inbound Materials Management
• Good team player, able to work well independently and in a team
• Exposure in new setup organisation to establish Warehouse Policy and relevant Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP”).
• Sound knowledge of warehousing activities, storage, receipt and picking.
• Highly proactive with good interpersonal, liaison and facilitation skills.
• High level of integrity
• Maintain warehousing documentation and report to Reporting Officer (“RO”) promptly should any nonconformances be discovered.
• Experience in power plants worksite’s adherence to Workplace Safety & Health, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Good planning skills and able to prioritize the work to complete within timeline.
• Self‐motivated, results focused and willing to work under tight schedules with multi‐disciplinary teams.
• Willing to work in construction site office during construction stage and Jurong Island. (Morning transportation pick-up points available at different parts of Singapore.)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide a “best in class” service to all clients.
• Always maintain and inspect all conference rooms and pantries in good and clean condition.

• Championing flexible working and provide support to clients and guests on processes & tools - e.g. Meeting Rooms, Desks, onsite AV Equipment, pantries etc.
• Ensure the building and relevant equipment / technology is in perfect working order. Spatial awareness: support the Workspace Experience Lead with collecting and analyzing workspace data (subjective, objective and ethnographically) to improve the workspace experience for colleagues.

Collections

• Accountable and responsible for collections every month.
• Attending to clients’ requests, sending weekly reminders / following up on all ageing clients every 14 days until payment has been made to us.
• Updating and checking the AR list every week and coordinate with credit control team in generating of SOA and chasing of payment.

Billings

• Generating of bills through portal and keeping track to ensure monthly targets are met.
• Doing up of Managers’ billing cumulative data in pivot table and match against their allocated portfolio and let them know their unfulfilled amount and revenue to achieve every month.

• Keep track of all tax deliverables’ amount and revenue in terms of Compliance, GST, Personal tax, Advisory, Due Diligence etc.
• Will discuss and update the partner on the quarterly budgets from time to time for all tax deliverables.

Opportunities pipelines

• Tracking and updating of all opportunities in the software system eg. Wins and lost pipelines

Timesheets

• Doing up of the staffs’ timesheet in pivot table to monitor their chargeability and utilization.
• Speak to staff if they have not met their minimum utilization.

Workplan

• Doing up the workplan in pivot table to check against the timesheet if the workplan has been accurately planned and if there is too little work/ sufficient resource etc.. Discuss with the managers accordingly.

Client tax progress control (TPC)/tax status report

• Pivot the staffs’ work progress on all the clients’ work matters.
• Generate the weekly status to ensure financial accounts have been received and updated so as to commence work and start on the fee quote process and finally bill the client timely
• Do allocation of Managers port allocation in terms of budgets given. Will also assist in staff portfolio budget calculation.
• Updating of all NOA and all iras tax letters into our database.
• Update ceased client /waiver list from time to time
• Updating and maintaining of the clients’ database

General Admin

• Update tax library books’ listing from time to time.
• Sorting of IRAS letters, scan and disseminate to the engagement team in charge of the client.
• Assigning tickets to the respective tax engagement team in charge on a daily basis

REQUIREMENTS

• You should have at least a Diploma in Business studies, Business management, Business Finance or Accountancy or relevant discipline
• At least 4 years of relevant working experience in similar role or with strong understanding of budgeting and financial analysis and project management skills
