Job Description

• Position Title: IT Support Engineer
• Working Location: Tuas (Transport provided from Boon Lay MRT)
• Working Hours: 5.25 days (M-F, 8.30 am-5.00 pm; Alternative Sat, 8.30 am-1 pm)
• Salary Package: Basic salary up to $3,000 + AWS + Mobile Allowance + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and upkeep of HQ IT equipment and software.
• Handle hardware maintenance needs, coordinate with vendors for repairs/upgrades, dispose of obsolete hardware, and manage hardware consumables.
• Provide "HelpDesk" support to users and escalate issues to vendors/consultants if necessary.
• Support team members with IT service operations within the Group.
• Coordinate all IT-related purchases within the company, working with end-users and department heads.
• Maintain and update IT hardware and software inventory.
• Perform IT-related duties and projects as assigned by the Group IT GM.

• At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Energetic and willing to work offsite for outdoor projects.
• Good skills in liaising and following up with vendors and users both onsite and offsite.

• Provide assistance to dentist in all dental procedures

Job Description:

To perform preventive and corrective maintenance works on equipment, and standby

duties as required so that the equipment can function properly and operate safely.

Requirements:

1. Carry out preventive maintenance works in accordance to the schedule.

2. Carry out corrective maintenance works as when required.

3. Observe safety work procedures.

4. Ensure that tools provided are properly kept and used.

5. Observe proper behaviour while working.

6. Perform standby works when required.

7. Follow-up on breakdown report and assist Standby Section where required.

8. Assist the Supervisor and Senior Technician I in carrying out the function of the section.

9. Report to the superior on all matters relating to the section.

10. Carry out any other duties as assigned by superior.

11. To keep proper records of works carried out in the relevant reports.

12. Attend to the building or equipment inspection as required, by law (BCD, FSB).

13. Assist in conducting investigation of damages/accidents to equipment or personnel.

14. Follow-up on QC and QA defects.

15. Ensure compliance to Environmental Policy, reduction of waste and prevention of pollution.

Your day to day

voco® Orchard Singapore is seeking a dynamic and passionate Technician to be part of this exciting rebranding project. As a Technician, you will ensure that routine maintenance is performed in order for the Hotels equipment to be operated with maximum efficiency to achieve customer and guest satisfaction.

People

• Perform all routine preventative maintenance and curative maintenance
• Order and monitor fuels, lubricants and repair parts
• Maintain clean and tidy plant rooms
• Maintain a level of broader knowledge which enables you to handle minor problems in all fields of the department
• Attend to all types of repair and maintenance work in the Hotel premises, including any new additions / extensions to the Hotel or any other properties maintained by the Hotel
• Assist with the implementation of the hotel’s preventative maintenance system and repair log system
• Participate in instructing colleagues on the proper operation, safety procedures and cleaning of all equipment
• Conduct and/or participate in staff meeting regarding proper operating and maintenance practices of equipment

Financial

• Inform superior of the status of repairs and pending costs and indicate when it would be reasonable to consider replacement
• Record daily service work, including maintaining individual replacement costs along with time/task labour hours cost

Guest Experience

• Repair and maintain guest room facilities, light facilities, furniture and equipment
• Prioritize work in line with guest requests and management

Responsible Business

• Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures
• Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly
• Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers
• Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements

What we need from you

• Related NTC certificates or Diploma
• Minimum 1-2 years of related working experience.
• Hotel experience will be an added advantage
