• Work closely with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional requirement specifications and/or tender specifications
• Conceptualize and recommend technical solutions to support the business requirements
• Work with Procurement to issue tender, evaluate proposals and award project tender
• Play the role of project manager to manage the Project Budget and the Software Development Life Cycle (“SDLC”) of assigned project(s) / Change Request(s) from initialization to closure
• Work closely with vendors to ensure successful software system delivery
• Prepare and/or verify the functional and technical documentations provided by the vendors
• Write Test Specs and conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Deploy and implement or promote release to production environment
• Lead and manage a team of 3 members
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in software engineering or computer science or any related disciple
• Minimum of 2 -4 years of development experience with Java, J2EE, Springboot and Hibernate.
• Proficiency in programming (Java, JavaScript, Angular, Unix Shell Scripting), relational databases and related SQL scripting (Oracle, SQL, MySQL)
• Knowledge in Agile Methodologies, Scrum knowledge of software best practices, such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI) will be an advantage
