Job Responsibility:
- Responsible for opening or closing of the outlet
- Attend to customers order taking and cashiering for payment process
- Cooking food, preparation and packing of food items
- Daily maintenance for outlet’s cleanliness to meet operational service, hygiene, and safety standards

Job Requirements:
- Preferably 1 year of similar work experiences
- Proficient in English and Malay or Chinese language
- Customer-orientated and good communication skills
- Proactive, ever-learning attitude and is a team player
- Passion for the F&B industry
- Able to commit during weekends and Public Holidays

As a kitchen attendant – or kitchen assistant – you are effectively the engine room of the kitchen. Working under the guidance of a kitchen supervisor or chef de partie, your job is to ensure that the kitchen is clean and operational. Sorting, storing and distributing ingredients

A Kitchen Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen by providing essential support to chefs and other kitchen staff. The role involves maintaining cleanliness, preparing ingredients, and performing basic cooking tasks under supervision.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cleaning and Maintenance: Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
   Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, workstations, and storage spaces.
   Dispose of waste appropriately and follow health and safety standards.
   
2. Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of ingredients (e.g., peeling, chopping, and measuring).
   Prepare simple dishes under guidance (e.g., salads, sandwiches).
   Replenish food supplies in the kitchen as needed.
   
3. Stock Management: Unpack and store deliveries appropriately.
   Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
   Ensure proper storage of ingredients to maintain freshness and prevent contamination.
   
4. Team Support: Assist chefs and cooks during busy service times.
   Transport food items and equipment between sections of the kitchen.
   Respond quickly to instructions from senior kitchen staff.
   
5. Compliance and Safety: Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
   Handle kitchen tools and machinery safely.
   Wear appropriate protective clothing and maintain a professional appearance.
   

Skills and Qualification

• Basic understanding of food preparation techniques is advantageous.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Mopping and sweeping the kitchen
• Taking out the garbage and replacing garbage bags
• Washing, drying, and putting away all dishes and kitchen utensils
• Unloading food supplies from delivery trucks
• Helping cooks prepare for meals by washing, cutting, peeling, and slicing ingredients
• Packing takeout orders for customers
• Clearing and cleaning tables for Waitstaff when necessary
• Refilling condiments or other supplies at tables
• Able to multi-task efficiently
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
• Ability to use common kitchen equipment and appliances safely
• Have experience working in high end restaurant
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Food Handler Certificate is plus.
• Minimum Secondary School qualification.
• Kitchen Helpers primarily help with a variety of tasks, depending on what the Cooks or Waitstaff need at the time.
