DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
▪ Ensure all service job are performed to customer’s requirements, by taking instructions from Job Sheet, Service Advisor and/or Operations Manager.
▪ Conduct Pre-Inspection of vehicles upon receiving from Service Advisor.
▪ Conduct visual inspection and state the vehicle’s conditions in the Job Sheet.
▪ Conduct Post-inspection of vehicles before handover to Service Advisor.
▪ After conducting checks and inspections of each vehicle (conduct diagnostic test with scanner), write on the Job Sheet accordingly, update and submit Job Sheet to Service Advisor promptly.
▪ Ensure vehicles are serviced, maintained and repaired to the highest standard, and inform and advise Service Advisor additional job required should problem is suspected and/or identified.
▪ Ensure adequate maintenance of tools, equipment and cleanliness in the workshop and return all tools and equipment to the designated storage and location at the end of every day.
▪ Before the end of the working hours, review work orders and Job Sheets to ensure that all actions have been documented according to standard.
▪ Diligently carry out repair works in time as assigned by supervisors.
▪ Key duties under servicing of vehicles such as change engine oil, oil filter, transmission oil, clutch fluid, brake fluid, power steering fluid, coolant. Adjust Toe and Camber
▪ Key duties under repair of vehicles such as replacing aircon components (compressor, condenser, dryers, expansion valve, cooling coil, piping, ac filter), coolant hose, radiator, water pump, fans, fan belts, tensioner, pulley, alternator, starter motor, spark plug, ignition coil, sensors, air filter, battery, cam cover gasket, seals & O-rings, and other components leading to oil leak, under-carriage parts (linkage, anti-roll bar, upper & lower arm, suspension, coil over, bushing, wheel bearing) brake systems, clutch systems, engine overhaul, transmission overhaul, exhaust system.
▪ Disassemble and assemble vehicle rims, body and parts with Extreme Care and Safety with proper tools provided.
▪ Operate hoist and lift device to position vehicle in a safe manner.
▪ Provides guidance and instruction to less experienced or apprentice maintenance personnel.
▪ Ability to work with minimal supervisor and does other adhoc duties as assigned.
