What we are looking for

Job Description

• Manage daily cash transactions, including time deposits, and maintain the cash register
• Efficiently process payments, receipts, and handle refunds as required
• Prepare and verify daily bank advices, ensuring alignment with cash transactions, and reconcile any discrepancies
• Support the Accountant with ledger entries and perform basic bookkeeping tasks
• Keep the GST register updated to facilitate seamless GST filing when receiving invoices
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and other departments to create purchase orders (PO) when needed
• Regularly maintain and update monthly exchange rates
• Support external audits and tax reviews as required

The Successful Applicant

• Diploma in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent
• Experience in handling cash transactions and basic bookeeping
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement of salaries.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance and leaves
• Coordinate recruitment efforts, from posting job openings to conducting interviews
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with relevant labor laws
• Resolve employee queries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies
• Stay updated on changes in labor laws and HR best practices
• Facilitate employee onboarding including conduct orientation sessions and off boarding

Job Requirements:

• A Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Payroll or HR Executive with a strong understanding of payroll processes
• In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices
• Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and payroll software
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive employee information
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion
• Organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various HR functions simultaneously
• Problem-solving skills to address employee concerns and HR challenges

Responsibilities:

• For some of our brands, you have to manage the entire process in the planning of procurement, supply chain activities and inventory control
• Prepare Purchase Orders and facilitate customs clearance and all necessary arrangements for smooth inventory replenishment
• Work with sales team and analyse demand pattern to forecast orders and stock levels in warehouse
• Liaise with logistics suppliers to ensure the best quotations for supply chain services
• Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers and contractors that facilitate smooth flow of logistics and storage services
• Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Degree or Diploma in Accountancy (preferred) or equivalent

2. Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident

c. Abilit to work under pressure and timelines

5. 1 to 2 years' relevant working experience will be preferred. A fresh graduate will also be considered. Pay will be competitive.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assisting on the full sets of accounts

2. Assist in covering the finance and admin functions

3. Monitoring the financial activities according to the Financial Regulations

4. HR duties

5. Perform all duties as and when assigned

6. Ad-hoc duties as and when assigned
